Though alarmed by the news, Osfala tells Link not to worry, as he can handle his own and has a Sand Rod rented from Ravio's shop to help him, and enters the Eastern Palace. Link goes after him, but arrives too late, and can only watch as Osfala is turned into a painting as well. Yuga later uses Osfala's painting along with those of the other Sages' to revive Ganon. Following that, the paintings of the Seven Sages are spread throughout Lorule. Osfala's is taken to the Thieves' Hideout, then stolen from them by a young thief who was imprisoned in the Hideout as a result. After Link saves her, she takes him to Osfala's painting, and the young hero frees him. Grateful, Osfala thanks Link, and asks Link to return the Sand Rod he rented. After all Seven Sages are freed, Osfala uses his power alongside them to grant Link the Triforce of Courage.
