Pengators are recurring enemies in the Legend of Zelda series. As implied by their name, these creatures are hybrids of penguins and alligators. They strike their prey by sliding towards it on their stomach and biting it with their teeth-filled bill.

The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past[]
Pengators reside in the icy regions of the Dark World, most prevalently in the Ice Palace. Due to the icy floors on which they reside, it is particularly difficult to evade their attacks. Pengators can be defeated most easily with a single hit with the Hookshot, though the sword is also effective against them.
The Legend of Zelda: Four Swords Adventures[]
Pengators appear in Frozen Hyrule. They look and act similarly to their A Link to the Past counterparts.
