- "First!! You must have only one heart left... Second!! Use your last ounce of strength to swing your sword! That's all, young swordsman!!"
- — Waveblade
The Peril Beam is a skill from The Legend of Zelda: The Minish Cap. Link learns this sword technique from Waveblade, whose Dojo is located in a tree near Lake Hylia. This skill can only be accessed when Link has acquired the Flippers. Waveblade will only teach Link the Peril Beam if he has ten or more Heart Containers. The Peril Beam is similar to the Sword Beam; however, instead of firing when Link's health is full, it fires when he has no more than one full heart left.
