Pikits are enemies from The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past. They are small, hopping plant-like creatures appearing in several locations around the Dark World. Their bodies are orange, and when one opens its mouth, a long, spiky tongue, capable of stealing items from Link, extends from it. Pikits can only steal items Link can replace, such as Rupees, Bombs, Arrows, the Fighter's Shield, and the Red Shield.
Etymology[]
Pikits are visually distinct from Like Likes. However, in the Japanese localization of A Link to the Past, they were called "Raiku Raiku", the Japanese name for Like Like.
