- "That stone is an enhanced version of the Gossip Stones long spoken of in the legends of the Hyrulian Royal Family. I am the one who made it."
- — Daphnes Nohansen Hyrule
The Pirate's Charm is an item from The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker. It is a heavily modified version of the Gossip Stones used by Tetra to communicate with her crew and friends telepathically. It was crafted by Daphnes Nohansen Hyrule and has been handed down through the Royal Family of Hyrule.
Tetra slips the Pirate's Charm into Link's pocket before she launches him into the Forsaken Fortress. She owns the charm because, unbeknownst to her, she is in fact Princess Zelda.
Later, the King of Red Lions uses his own charm to communicate with Link when they are separated. Link can talk through the stone when the "A" icon flashes, and Link hears a noise, often getting a hint at what Link must do next.

In Hyrule Warriors & Hyrule Warriors Legends, Aryll uses the Pirate's Charm to communicate with her brother Toon Link, allowing her to act as his voicebox (similar to Proxi) and thus allow her brother remain a silent protagonist like the other incarnations of Link.
The Pirate's Charm also appears as Toon Link's Silver Material drop in Hyrule Warriors Legends.
