Prince Rouru is a character from a manga side story based on The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. He is the son of Queen Elrora and the monarch-to-be of the Watarara tribe. He is at first obnoxious and arrogant, but he matures over time.

Biography[]

When Link first encounters the prince, he is passed out in Lake Hylia and gets caught by Link's Fishing Rod. He is identified by Dr. Mizumi and given medication. His first action after waking up from unconsciousness is to swat Navi like a fly. He constantly taunts and tortures her despite Link's protests. Navi leaves Link after Rouru keeps attacking her, but returns to help when Link and Prince Rouru are attacked by two Flare Dancers. Rouru has during his time away grown as a person and also manages to manifest his wings and gain flight, a sort of rite of passage for the Watararas.
