Ricky's Flute is a flute that that appears in both The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Ages and The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Seasons. When played, this flute allows Link to call Ricky the kangaroo.

If Link obtains a score of 50 or higher at the Shooting Gallery mini-game in Lynna Village after the Moonlit Grotto has been completed, but before he travels to the Nuun Highlands, he will be rewarded with a Strange Flute. Upon meeting Ricky the second time in the Fairies' Woods, it becomes Ricky's Flute.
If the Nuun Highlands northwest of Lynna City takes on a Prairie-style terrain with cliffs and vegetation, it can be considered a proof that Link will receive Ricky's Flute later on.
The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Seasons[]
Link will receive this flute if he is not holding a Strange Flute after returning Ricky's Gloves to Ricky.
If the Natzu area north of Horon Village takes on a Prairie-style terrain with cliffs and vegetation, it can be considered a proof that Link will receive Ricky's Flute later on.
Linked Game[]
During a Linked Game, Link will not be able to obtain a Strange Flute. If Ricky was picked in the original game, he will also become Link's companion in the second game.
