The Roc's Cape is a recurring item in the Legend of Zelda series. This cape is an upgrade of the Roc's Feather and allows the wearer to jump and glide farther than normal. Though not specified, the Roc's Cape is likely woven out of Roc's Feathers.

The Roc's Cape can be found in the Explorer's Crypt. As a direct upgrade of the Roc's Feather, it allows Link to jump and glide through the air.

The Legend of Zelda: Four Swords

Roc's Capes can be found randomly on Item Podiums throughout Hyrule. They allow Link to glide through the air for short distances. If Link picks up another item from a pedestal, he discards the Roc's Cape, placing it back on the pedestal.

The Legend of Zelda: The Minish Cap

Roc's Cape can be found in the Palace of Winds. As in previous games, it allows Link to glide through the air. It is also essential in learning the Down Thrust from Swiftblade. In Hyrule Town Link can use the Roc's Cape to jump into the town bell to obtain a Piece of Heart.

Etymology

The Roc's Feather is named after the Roc, a type of mythical gigantic bird.
