The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Seasons[]
Rosa is first encountered in the Woods of Winter, just northwest of Horon Village after Link completes the Gnarled Root Dungeon, and begins his search for the Rod of Seasons. By eavesdropping, Link learns from Rosa that the Temple of Seasons has fallen into Subrosia, and she unwittingly leads him to the city by entering a hidden portal, allowing him to follow after her.
Later in the game, Rosa has lost her hair ribbon, and Link gives her a new one he purchased with Star-shaped Ore. Out of gratitude, Rosa then accompanies Link on a "date" across Subrosia, unlocking locked doors for him with her key. With her help, Link is able to enter the Temple of Seasons and get the power of summer for the Rod of Seasons. After this, Rosa can be found waiting at the Subrosia Seaside and will agree to go on another "date" whenever he asks her.
When walking around with Rosa, a couple of the Subrosians in the area will notice this and express feelings of surprise and envy. After opening the final locked door in the Subrosian Volcanoes, Rosa becomes useless for gameplay purposes, though she can still be asked to follow Link regardless. She automatically returns to the seaside if Link leaves Subrosia through a portal, and the "date" ends if Link re-enters her spot near the beach. Rosa will also wait outside if Link enters the Subrosian Dance Hall. Oddly, there is a room in the Subrosian Volcanoes (which later contains a Subrosian asking for a secret) that will trigger her to leave as well.
The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Ages[]
Rosa appears briefly during a Linked Game save file. She appears on Crescent Island, and helps Link recover some of his missing items from the Tokay. Later, she appears on Rolling Ridge, just outside the Goron Dance Hall mini-game.
