Rubies are items from The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. They are rare gemstones occasionally obtained from breaking Ore Deposits. They are also dropped by various types of Talus, Silver enemy variants and Yiga Blademasters when killed.
Link can sell them for 210 Rupees. Rubies are required in order to purchase the Ruby Circlet from Starlight Memories. The description of the Snowquill Headdress reveals it is adorn with a ruby. They are also used by Great Fairies to upgrade certain pieces of armor such as those granting cold resistance.
