"You got a Sacred Shield! The mystical power within this shield allows it to repair itself over time. It protects against fire, electric, and curse attacks!"
— In-game description

The Sacred Shield is a shield from The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword. It can be bought at the Bazaar for 500 Rupees after defeating The Imprisoned at the Sealed Grounds. It will protect Link from all forms of attack including fire and electricity, but suffers from very low durability. However, the shield also has the ability to automatically repair damage done to it. The Sacred Shield also gives off light, and can be used to ward off Cursed Bokoblins. By taking it to Gondo at the Scrap Shop in the Bazaar, Link can upgrade it to the Divine Shield and the Goddess Shield, increasing its durability and the speed at which it repairs itself.
