Scissors Beetles are enemies from The Legend of Zelda: The Minish Cap. They are small, yellow beetles with giant, blue scissor-like mandibles protruding from their mouths that can be used to block attacks or be thrown like a Boomerang. Link can easily dispose of a Scissors Beetle with the use of his sword, especially when the mandibles of the beetle are in midair, as they are the beetle's main form of defense. These deadly beetles can be found in various areas of Hyrule. They are most commonly found when Link is in Minish form. They are first encountered when Link is sent to retrieve the Flippers.
