"A boomerang said to have been used by a hero who traveled the Great Sea. It smells faintly of salt water."
— In-game description

The Sea-Breeze Boomerang is an item from The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. It is a rare Boomerang with a base attack power of 20, though this can be increased by certain weapon bonuses. Link can obtain by using the amiibo Rune with either the The Legend of Zelda: 30th Anniversary or Super Smash Bros. Toon Link amiibo. It is based on the Boomerang used by the Hero of Winds in The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker. Unlike the "Hero of Wild" armor set the Sea-Breeze Boomerang will only start to appear after Link has to acquire the Paraglider, thus it will not randomly spawn until Link has obtained the Paraglider from Rhoam Bosphoramus Hyrule during "The Isolated Plateau" quest.

Like the eponymous Boomerang, it is made of wood and will burn if exposed to fire or volcanic temperatures. However as it is made of wood it will not attract electricity during thunderstorms. Though it can be thrown like other boomerangs, its rarity makes this problematic as Link must make sure to catch it manually and can easily lose it if it hits an obstacle or he fails to catch it. The only way to recover it is to find it and pick it back up or reload to a previous save before Link lost it. If it breaks, burns up, or is lost Link can randomly obtain a replacement by using the amiibo with the amiibo rune again. Link can also carry multiple Sea-Breeze Boomerangs acquired via the amiibo rune.
