"You got a Seed Satchel! And it has 20 Ember Seeds!"
— In-game description
The Seed Satchel as it appears in-game

The Seed Satchel is an item that appears in both The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Ages and The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Seasons. It is used to store the different seeds Link can obtain in both games. The five different types of seeds — Ember, Scent, Mystery, Pegasus, and Gale — grow on respective types of trees. In both games, the Seed Satchel can receive two upgrades that increases its capacity for carrying seeds.

In Oracle of Ages, the Seed Satchel is given to Link by the Maku Tree in the present, after he has saved her from a Moblin attack in the past. In the Moonlit Grotto, the third dungeon in the game, Link receives the Seed Shooter, which is able to fire ricocheting seeds in eight directions.

In Oracle of Seasons, the Seed Satchel is the treasure of the Gnarled Root Dungeon, the first dungeon in the game. The Slingshot, which is found in Dancing Dragon Dungeon, the fourth dungeon, allows Link to fire seeds in any of the four compass directions. An upgrade, the Hyper Slingshot, is able to fire three seeds concurrently, albeit with less accuracy than the ordinary Slingshot.
