The Shipwreck opening event from The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening. Occurring during the intro sequence to the game, the Shipwreck is the focal point that sets the events of Link's Awakening into motion.
While traveling at sea, Link is washed up on the Toronbo Shores when a fierce storm destroys his ship. He is found by Marin, who brings him to her house and nurses him back to consciousness. Link subsequently learns about the Wind Fish, and sets off on his quest to awaken the deity.

After Link awakens the Wind Fish and Koholint Island ceases to exist, he finds himself floating upon a piece of wreckage in the middle of the ocean, indicating that the events of Link's Awakening were merely a dream. As Link looks to the sky, however, the silhouette of the Wind Fish flies by, indicating otherwise.
