Slimes are recurring enemies in the Legend of Zelda series.
Appearances[]
The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past[]
Slimes occasionally appear if Link uses the Quake Medallion in the vicinity of an enemy or if Magic Powder is sprinkled on certain enemies, usually those considered to be weak. Once hit, the enemy morphs into a spherical blob with small green strands protruding from its head, somewhat resembling an onion. The transformation also reduces the monster's defense, making it susceptible to most attacks from Link. They are also an answer to a clue in the quest for the Whirlwind Sword Attack in the Game Boy Advance port.
The Legend of Zelda: Four Swords Adventures[]
Slimes appear in the Death Mountain Foothills and Frozen Hyrule when Link uses a Quake Medallion.
