Spring is a season in the Legend of Zelda series. The spring season is represented with blooming flowers and warmer weather, and although many spring-like areas appear throughout the series, it is only referenced by name on three occasions.

Appearances[]

The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask[]

The mountains of Snowhead are cursed with perpetual winter. Once Link slays Goht in Snowhead Temple however, spring returns to the mountains. When this happens the snow melts, and many things change in the region; the Frog Choir returns to the Mountain Village, the pond surrounding the Twin Islands defrosts and the Goron Racetrack reopens, among many other things.

The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Seasons[]

Spring is one of the four seasons thrown into chaos by General Onox. It appears randomly throughout the land of Holodrum and Link can control it with the Rod of Seasons. During spring, flowers such as Blast Blooms and Rock Flowers blossom. This is also the season in which Scent Seeds grow.

The Legend of Zelda: Four Swords Adventures[]

Spring is mentioned briefly by the Purple Maiden. She tells Link that Frozen Hyrule has been sent into an eternal winter due to dark magic stopping spring from occurring in that region.

The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess[]

The four seasons rotate every time Link enters the Fishing Hole. During the spring season, the Fishing Hole is representative with spring-like elements, such as warmer weather, bees buzzing about and blooming flowers.
