Star Switches are objects from The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past. These switches, emblazoned with the likeness of a star, are found in dungeons and Hidden Holes. They are typically found in rooms in which holes are found. When Link steps on one, the locations of the room's holes move, allowing Link to traverse areas he could not traverse before. Typically, Star Switches come in numbers, and clever thinking as to the order they must be stepped on must be applied. Occasionally, they move holes in rooms other than the one they are found in. They are first encountered inside the Tower of Hera.
