The Stealth Chest Guard is an item from The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. It is Sheikah body armor granting Stealth Up effect. Link can buy it at the Enchanted clothing shop of Kakariko Village.
After upgrading the three "Stealth" pieces to Level 2 (★★), comprising the Stealth Chest Guard, Mask and Tights, the worn set grants Speed Up effect to Link at night.
Sheikah warriors before and during the Great Calamity can be seen wearing this body armor along with the rest of the set in two of Link's Recovered Memories and flashback cutscene during Rhoam Bosphoramus Hyrule's explanation of the events leading up to the Calamity. The two Sheikah that find the injured Link and Princess Zelda near Fort Hateno also wear the set.

Sheik[]
The Stealth Chest Guard is reminiscent of the clothing worn by Sheik and may be the current incarnation of the same type of Sheikah Armor that Sheik wore in Ocarina of Time (as Breath of the Wild is set after Ocarina of Time). Interestingly, this is somewhat supported by Sheik's Mask head armor which lacks any body or leg armor, as that role is presumably fulfilled by the Stealth Chest Guard and Stealth Tights which can be worn with the Sheik's Mask in order to make Link resemble Sheik.
According to an early rough design sketch by Takumi Wada in Creating a Champion, one of the early concept designs for the Sheikah Armor set resembled the rain-resistant garbs though the design was ultimately scrapped in favor of armor resembling that worn by Sheik and identical to the armor worn by Sheikah Warriors in Breath of the Wild. Presumably Sheik's Mask was added to reinforce the stealth armor's association with Sheik's clothing. The Mask's description also implies Sheik's clothing was constructed from the finest Sheikah stealth fabrics, indicating the possibility Sheikah stealth armor or an early version of it existed in some form during Ocarina of Time with the current Stealth set being the latest model of stealth armor enhanced by ancient Sheikah technology. Sheik's Mask is presumably a surviving relic or replica of Sheik's Mask created by Sheikah craftsmen using traditional methods and fabrics.
