The Stealth Mask is an item from The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. It is a Sheikah head armor granting Stealth Up effect. Link can buy it at the Enchanted clothing shop of Kakariko Village for 500 Rupees.
After upgrading the three "Stealth" pieces to Level 2 (★★), comprising the Stealth Mask, Chest Guard and Tights, the worn set grants Speed Up effect to Link at night. It can be dyed at the Kochi Dye Shop in Hateno Village.
Sheikah warriors before and during the Great Calamity can be seen wearing this head armor along with the rest of the set in two of Link's Recovered Memories and flashback cutscene during Rhoam Bosphoramus Hyrule's explanation of the events leading up to the Calamity. The two Sheikah that find the injured Link and Princess Zelda near Fort Hateno also wear the set.

Relation to Sheik's Mask[]
Unlike the rest of the Stealth set, the Stealth Mask differs from Sheik's Mask with the only reference to it being the Stealth Mask's bandage-like scarf . However it is suggested Sheik's Mask may be an early precursor to the Stealth Mask as it is said to be constructed from the finest Sheikah stealth fabrics and grants Stealth Up like the Stealth Mask. This indicates Sheik's Mask may have been an ancient form of Stealth Mask that became associated with the legendary Sheikah warrior Sheik. Like Sheik's Mask the Stealth Mask can be worn by Hylians as Claree is permitted to sell them to Hylian travelers.
In the official source book The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild - Creating a Champion a scrapped rough design sketch by Takumi Wada reveals there was a different concept design for the Sheikah armor set which featured an umbrella hat as said design resembled the Sheikah exclusive rain-resistant garbs though ultimately this design was not chosen. Presumably the final design was influenced by Sheik's clothing which is reinforced by Sheik's Mask making Link resemble Sheik when worn with the Stealth Chest Guard and Stealth Tights. Presumably the Stealth Mask's design was to match the Sheikah's Japanese ninja theme as the mask and hairstyle that the developers were going for with the bandage-like scarf serving as a homage to Sheik's design which presumably influenced the armor set's final design to maintain some essence of continuity between Ocarina of Time and Breath of the Wild.
