Stingers are enemies from The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. These aquatic creatures resemble manta rays or stingrays and are often found in groups. The top of their bodies are blue, while the undersides are red. If Link approaches one, it will jump out of the water to attack. Should they fly into Link, he will be electrocuted. Occasionally, they will hide in or burrow into Jabu-Jabu's flesh. This will create a bruised area that can be monitored to avoid being surprised by their emergence. They will fly around briefly before swooping in to attack. It is generally easiest to defeat them with any variety of ranged weaponry before they swoop, though they take multiple hits before death. Stingers appear Inside Jabu-Jabu's Belly and in the Water Temple.
