Stone Statue

Stone Statues are objects from Legend of Zelda. These gargoyle- and dragon-like statues are found in both the first and final room of every dungeon. They are also occasionally found in other rooms in a dungeon. The Stone Statues that bear resemblance to gargoyles or demons face right, and Stone Statues that resemble dragons face left.

Though they are often merely decorative items, certain variants will shoot orbs of energy at Link, much like the kind shot by Zoras. Stone Statues cannot be destroyed.

Similar statues appear in Zelda II: The Adventure of Link. These statues bear a more distinct resemblance to gargoyles and hang from walls. Floating versions will also attack Link in certain rooms.
