Spoiler warning: Plot or ending details follow.

The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker[]

Sturgeon gives Link useful tips and helpful advice for his adventure through "Sturgeon's One-Point Lessons," a written tutorial comprised of papers tacked to the wall of his house. He lives on Outset Island with his brother, Orca. As Orca's polar opposite, Sturgeon is constantly bickering with Orca and criticizing his brother's pursuit of strength as opposed to his own pursuit of knowledge. He is angered when his brother causes the pottery to drop down from the shelves with his roll attacks. He is grandfather to Sue-Belle, who also lives with him. According to the Nintendo Gallery, he was quite a competent swordsman in his youth.

The Legend of Zelda: The Minish Cap[]

Sturgeon is a librarian working in Hyrule Town's library. He transports books by carrying them on his head. He also remarks that he has a vague suspicion that there is something strange about the library. Indeed, his suspicions are justified, as there are several Town Minish living inside several books and shelves in the library.

He is available for a Kinstone fusion.

Spoiler warning: Spoilers end here.

Etymology[]

As many characters in The Wind Waker carry a name of an aquatic nature, Sturgeon may be derived from sturgeon.
