Summer is a season in the Legend of Zelda series. The summer season is distinguished as hot and humid, and although weather resembling this time of year appears throughout the series, it is only referenced directly on two occasions.
Appearances[]
The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Seasons[]
Summer is one of the four seasons thrown into chaos by General Onox. It appears randomly throughout the land of Holodrum and Link can control it with the Rod of Seasons. During summer, Vines grow and certain bodies of water dry up. This is also the season in which Mystery Seeds and Gale Seeds grow.
The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess[]
The four seasons rotate every time Link enters the Fishing Hole. During the summer season, the Fishing Hole is hot and perfect for catching fish. The rarer types of fish become easier to catch during the summer, and it is the only season when Link can catch the legendary Hylian Loach.
