The Swamp Shooting Gallery is a location from The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask. It is located just off the road between Termina Field and the region of Woodfall, and houses a Shooting Gallery mini-game. It is open from 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. on all three days. It is not closed down on the final day, as its owner is apparently unaware, or unafraid, of the impending fate of Termina caused by the fall of the Moon.
Link can pay a fee of 20 Rupees to participate in the game for a chance to win various prizes. The objective is to hit as many targets as possible before one minute and forty seconds have passed. Unlike most other Shooting Galleries, Link has an unlimited supply of arrows, and the targets are live monsters. Each enemy awards Link a different number of points when hit. Mad Scrubs award 30 Points, Guays award 60 Points, Wolfos award 100 Points, and the hidden distant Mad Scrubs award 100 Points. Additionally, if all the targets are hit, Link receives an additional 10 points for each second remaining on the clock.
If Link amasses a score of 2,120 points, he is awarded with a Quiver one size larger than his current one; subsequently, achieving this score yields a retry, free of charge. If he can attain a perfect score, he is awarded a Piece of Heart, or 50 Rupees if he has received the Piece if Heart earlier or during a prior time loop. Interestingly, "perfect" scores can be achieved even if one or two targets are not hit.
Interestingly, the Japanese version included a ramp, which Goron Link can use to go behind the fence and into the target area. The reason for why it was removed in localized versions is currently unknown.
In Majora's Mask 3D, the new Swamp Fishing Hole appears right next door to it.
