The Tabantha Great Bridge is a location from The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. It is located in the Tabantha Frontier region of Hyrule. It crosses over Tanagar Canyon and is located above Modar's campsite on the Tanagar Canyon Course. The Tabantha Bridge Stable on the bridge's eastern side is named after the bridge.

History

The Boom-Bam Ghost of Tabantha Great Bridge

According to a local legend mentioned by Savelle, a Goron traveler once fell off the bridge and his ghost is said to haunt Tanager Canyon under the bridge and is the source of the strange Boom-Bam sounds that emanate from Tanager Canyon. However unbeknownst to the locals, the Goron who's name is Modar apparently survived the fall and created the Tanager Canyon Course to play Boom Bam Golf which is apparently the true source of the sounds attributed to the Boom-Bam Ghost. Modar presumably survived the fall due to a combination of his natural Goron resilience and protective hard hat which prevented serious injury. However the local Hylians were apparently unfamiliar with Gorons being more resilient than Hylians as they assumed the drop from the bridge was fatal.
