Correct me if I'm wrong, but is it of note that this is the only one of the three Young Link dungeons that can be entered as an adult? (tbh I can't remember if Deku Tree is accessible, but I think it wasn't)

Yep. Surprised it's not here already.
If I remember rightly you have to go into it as an adult to get a golden Skulltulla using the hook shot. Should that be mentionied? OniDark Link 09:19, January 29, 2010 (UTC)

I thought you could go in as an adult, but to be honest I don't really remember any little tidbits like that from OoT so I could be completely wrong. As for the Gold Skulltula, can't you get it with the Boomerang or something (not that I would know...I never bothered getting all of those)?
I think I remember one very annoying one in there that could only be obtained using the hook shot but that was before I started playing master quest on every play through (hence my knowledge is lacking) and I was probably between five and ten at the time so could be wrong OniDark Link 16:17, January 29, 2010 (UTC)

You cannot go into the GDT as an adult; his mouth is closed. You must go in as a child, after receiving the bomb bag, to obtain the gold skulltula behind a bombable wall.

Pretty sure you need the Boomerang, too. As for the Dodongo's Cavern Skulltula, if I remember correctly, you need the Scarecrow's Song and the Hookshot.
Yep, this is the only one. The Great Deku Tree has his mouth closed, and Lord Jabu Jabu is missing and thusly he can't open his mouth for you to enter.
Armos[]
Are there any Armos enemies in the original version of this dungeon? I dont remember where they are but I haven't had a non Master Quest play through of Ocarina of Time in years. Can someone tell me which room they're in? OniDark Link 23:20, July 8, 2010 (UTC)
Yes. There are Armos enemies in several rooms. There the one with the gold skulltula. There are the ones surrounding that one pillar where you have to pull out the fake armos to reach the ladder. And I think there is more as well. --EveryDayJoe45 (talk) 15:38, July 9, 2010 (UTC)
Maybe in the Cameos, but I'm not if it's already there. Gotta go check.
Majora's Mask[]
Is there a reason the section considering Majora's Mask is under a theory heading, rather than an other appearances one, like most cases of minor references to things from other games? I mean, it's not like it's dubious; the Goron clearly says "Dodongo's Cavern", and there doesn't seem to be any actual theory listed in it, just mentioning the dubiousness of whether he's referring to Hyrule's Dodongo's Cavern or an unseen place by the same name in Termina. -- 1337star(Drop me a line!) 21:30, April 21, 2012 (UTC)
