Ok this needs to be linked on pages. And also, am I the only one who thinks this isn't really appropriate for a wiki of zelda? I mean its not really connected with Nintendo other than featuring them. So this is like making an article for IGN, Gamespot, Electronic Gaming Monthly, etc. But the fact that it is on a lot of pages is true. Maybe because of that it is important enough. Hence why it needs to be linked. I've been far too busy the past few days and am still too busy to take control here.
Unless this were to be expanded to feature coverage of the years in which Zelda stuff was featured, I should think a Wikipedia link should suffice. Even then, Wikipedia might be a better source regardless. This is just a tad too much out of our scope methinks.

I will admit, it was surprising seeing this created.
So basically we have a section like ==2002== and under that we would have info about TWW previews? Like the trailer that is shows. We could also have a picture of Miyamoto dressed as Link under... 2006, right?

I am against this article if we cannot tie in previous Zelda titles appearances in the previous E3s, and do it correctly. If it becomes way to oversized, then it will be way to hard on the eye and make a reader just say "Get to the point". If it does not include enough content, then it should go as well. This is verging on not Zelda related if more is not added.
Now another thing that did cross mind if we end up having heap's and gobs of information, is that we could include most of the content on a sup-page(e.g. just a general overview of what Zelda related content was announced, maybe a picture or two, and link to the sup-page that can have all of the information that was released). Now we should not go crazy with sub-pages and only do it for years that had an excessive ammount of Zelda content.
P.S. This may or maynot be obvious to all, but we should only cover years at which Zelda content is talked about, not all years at E3.

We can't go crazy with all the years. That would be a lot of work and a lot of catching up to do. This year's E3 should definitely be covered because there's bound to be Zelda Wii info. Although I'm starting to question the need for this article, as the Zelda Wii one will probably be re-written anyway with updated info on the game from E3.
We have to do it right and cover all the big years(years with a huge ammount of Zelda content) or I say we delete it. This page could work out really well if we did it though, and would be an interesting article to have on the mainspace, if done right.

Well at least get us started on that and make it somehow Zelda related first. But IMO, don't even link it until we have a completed page so: A) We are all satisifed that the page is Zelda related and of high quality, and B) So we don't have to waste time removing those links if we delete the page anyway. This article is still quite iffy for me, and I don't want it linked until I'm certain that it deserves to even stay here.

I added the years. I probably missed stuff so we can continue adding to it. But now we can seriously discuss whether this should be kept or not now that we see what it will look like.
It looks alright, but I just don't like the placement. I think it should be between "History" and "Reception". I'm still behind saying it should stay.

I say we remove the current image and replace it with the E3 logo. Than I say we get some Zelda images like Miyamoto dressed as Link.

If we are keeping this, we should really make one for the Game Developers Conference too. There is always a lot of Zelda news and announcements there as well.
GDC sounds like a good idea, but aren't there a few more expos like the Tokyo Game Show that they announce quite a few things?

I guess it all depends on how much info has been revealed at each individual expo or whatever. I know the GDC has had a lot. Thats where ST was revealed.
Not a lot of Zelda info is really revealed at Tokyo Game Show...at least compared to E3 or even GDC.
