Ikana Graveyard Used by Clock Town?[]
It says in a couple places on the wiki that Ikana Graveyard is used by the inhabitants of Clock Town. I don't remember seeing any evidence of this. I assume it's an obscure time/species sensitive quote from the east Clock Town guard or someone. Does anyone know where this information comes from?--Fierce Deku (talk) 22:05, November 16, 2010 (UTC)
- This appears to be the original edit containing this possibly errant statement. I, too, see no factual information that outright states deceased residents of Clock Town are buried here, unless said user (who likely won't be of any help here, seeing as how they haven't edited in a long time) has applied some really out-of-the-box thinking, recognizing masonry from Clock Town or some such, which would basically disqualify this apparent statement of fact, anyway. Shouldn't be allowed to stay thus unless someone has a counter-argument with merit. --AuronKaizer! 01:45, November 17, 2010 (UTC)
Actually the answer is starring us in the face. I just realized that in the quote from Dampe, seen on this very page, he says "All the graves here belong to the family members of the King of Ikana Castle...". Of course I only see that quote after going into MM and talking to him myself. lol. Do we want to give it time for someone to come out with evidence to the contrary, or just edit it now? ***Just realized that it's possible that there are people in clock town who are descended from Igos and know it. That's unproven and unlikely though, and doesn't really merit saying the people of clock town use the graveyard.--Fierce Deku (talk) 03:01, November 17, 2010 (UTC)
Actually, doesn't that quote imply that Captain Keeta and Flat (and therefore Sharp), along with all the stallchilderen in that graveyard, and the Iron Knuckles and big Poe found bellow, are in fact relatives of Igos? There are no graves there directly labeled with Keeta or Flat's name, but both of them can be found there as undead.--Fierce Deku (talk) 03:01, November 17, 2010 (UTC)
- I think you're looking into this a little bit too literally. --EveryDayJoe45 (talk) 23:01, November 30, 2010 (UTC)
