These were also in Phantom Hourglass, except they couldn't be thrown and only produced one item. Should that be incorporated in the article?

I too have no recollection of something like that. But then again, I can hardly remember anything from PH.

Ah.... I'm not so sure of that. I thought if you tapped them (tap = pick up when it is possible to do so) you just broke them with your sword.
