Not nessisarily, there may be some actual "boy" boats, but the sailor's always call them "she", why they do that is left up to the imagination of us landlubbers, or those who know how sailor's think.
AuronKaizer - "Oh, it's not your fault. It's not your mother's fault. It is nobody's fault. The Great Circle of Life has begun, but, you see, not all of us arrive together at the end now. And you'll always miss her. But she'll always be with you, as long as you remember the things she taught you. In the way, you'll never really be apart, for you're still a part of each other." Another gender dispute eh?
Then why is it the KING of Red Lions, you can't mistaken him, Link can't talk.

The King of Red Lions is a boat possessed by Daphnes, while Daphnes himself is a Hylian. There's of course just the one being, but there's enough of a distinction here that I don't mind leaving them separate.--FierceDeku 22:24, January 7, 2012 (UTC)
I also feel like it would be a (minor) spoiler to merge the pages. Where we can select parts of the article to tell the viewer that there may be spoilers, they would be automatically informed that Daphnes and the KoRL are the same were they to search for either, making the page in and of itself a spoiler.
