As start, the game doesn't contradict any of the games of the series.

You make a good argument there, but that isn't the only criteria needed for something to be canon. I guess we have a prejudiced attitude leaning towards the "if it ain't in the main series it ain't canonical" school of thinking around here. There isn't really any good way that I can see as to what the final decision should be.

Lon Lon Meadow), and… Tingle. Additionally Nintendo was implied on the release of the game, even they did a poll to see if the game should reach America. This are just some points though is hard to consider spin-off as canon, also I hate Tingle it'll be preferable that they just didn't make this kind of games. But again all this is easy arguable.
