You may want to wait until the game comes out--Hylian potato (talk) 20:16, June 18, 2010 (UTC)hylian potato

I heard that this boss was stated to be merely for the trailer, and that it would not actually be in the finished game. Does anyone know if there is any truth to this?

Kind of hard to know if it'll appear in the final product, if the final product ain't out yet. It could be scrapped later on, but as far as I know, there's been zero sayin' it won't appear.

Where did you hear of this? It's the first I've heard of it.

According to the US Skyward Sword site this thing is named "Moldarach". http://www.zelda.com/skywardsword/#/world/lanayru-mining-facility/moldarach --Russte (talk) 07:18, November 5, 2011 (UTC)

Yup it is, but which one do we go with? --EveryDayJoe45 (talk) 09:40, November 5, 2011 (UTC)
Well I would think that the website is more official than the press release, so I think we should keep it as it is currently, with Moldarach as the article name, but still mention Moldera as a possible name until we know for sure. --Russte (talk) 05:30, November 7, 2011 (UTC)

The first paragraph is a little redundant. A scorpion is an arachnid, so of course something that looks like a scorpion is going to be an arachnid. You don't need to say that it shares characteristics of both arachnids and scorpions, because they're the same thing.

Beta Name[]

Like Scaldera being called Fire Gohma, I hear on the internet a lot that Moldarach was originally called Goma Arach, the name suggests a relation to the Gohma creatures so should this be mentioned on the article.--DrNefarious (talk) 11:20, January 17, 2012 (UTC)

Do we have a sure source on this? I don't remember either of those names being used. -Minish Link 14:39, January 17, 2012 (UTC)
I'm down with mentioning beta names if the article clearly notes that they're beta, but until we find a clear, reliable source, we can't put things like this in mainspace. If we talk about uncited rumors, we'll end up saying that a baby Kangaskhan who lost its mother can't get married because it found the Triforce in Ocarina of Time and named itself after the German word for "vacuum cleaner".--FierceDeku 00:03, January 18, 2012 (UTC)
Hyrule Historia says that Moldarach is actually a Gohma, but I was wrong about the name, it was always Moldarach, and the Scaldera being Fire Gohma was just a rumour.--DrNefarious (talk) 14:10, February 4, 2012 (UTC)
I cannot find this Moldarach/Gohma thing in the Historia. Please provide a link to the translation you're getting this from.--FierceDeku 22:19, February 4, 2012 (UTC)
