isn't this one of the most frightning and dreadful dungeons you've seen?

In a video game, yes. In real life, No.

Hahahaha, no way. The Shalebridge Cradle stage in Thief: Deadly Shadows is 10 million times as scary as the Shadow Temple. But if you mean in a Zelda game, I agree with you. But the Lakebed Temple is quite frighteningly bad and dreadfully boring.

I think it is, but only because of the music (and the fact that it's freakin' crawling with ReDeads...). Grounogeos 01:51, 4 April 2009 (UTC)

what raven do you refer to? The kind of bird like thing on front of the ship and a couple of pillars? Ive always thought the weird face had more repersentation of the shadow temple then the bird. maybe we should mention that also Oni Dark Link 21:40, October 5, 2009 (UTC)

No clue what you meant to say. And I'm talking about the bird statue. Its on the ferry, the pillar that you need to turn to the correct skull, the bombable wall outside Bongo Bongos chamber, etc. And what does that mean it represents the shadow temple? Thats the whole point of these. And that "weird face" im pretty sure is only there once, and theres no way its more dominant than the bird.

The "weird face" appears in two places in the temple that I can name off the top of my head, and I'm fairly certain it appears more. It's also all over the Bottom of the Well, which contains the Lens of Truth, a known Sheikah artifact. It may or may not be more dominant than the bird, but it's not as insignificant as you make it sound.

Well you kinda just ruined your own case. Your right it is in the bottom of the well, as the fountain head. Pretty sure the bird is nowhere else.

Ok, I no longer have any idea what you're talking about or where you're trying to go with this. I don't even think we're talking about the same face here. So um....yeah, I don't have a response to what you just said.

Alright, well I can't really help you since the only "face" I can remember is the one that you where you run through its mouth to go further into the temple after you spin the bird's beak to face the correct skull.

I don't know what face Oni was referring to, but I was thinking about those weird painting with the eerie smiling dude that usually represent something hidden that you can only see with the Lens of Truth.

Oh is probably what he is referring to, but its not a statue or whatever. The whole reason I thought of this was because I realized the temples have statues that appear a lot throughout the particular temple, but nowhere else throughout Hyrule. (that I can think of at least)

yeah thats the one im infering and i think it should be mentioned at least once. even if it only appears as a statue once (in the bottom of the well i think. i could be wrong it could appear as a statue more then that) we have mentioned the poe sisters as pictures. Music[]

This is something that Me and Joe realised ages ago but, If you listen to the Music of the shadow temple, you can hear that one of the most dominant Instruments is indeed the Bongos, It could be possible that Bongo Bongo Is playing the Bongo's In order to scare link? Its easier to think Link cannot hear dungeon music, but if by chance he can, this would be an explanation for this music in particular.
