When this was brought up it's been buggin' me. Advance guidebook apparently calls it "Skull Woods" while the name "Skeleton Forest" is also refers to said dungeon. I didn't bother looking it up at Wikipedia but I did at ZeldaWiki.org. Typing in "Skull Woods" brings this up: "Skull Woods is the Dark World counterpart to the Lost Woods in The Legend of Zelda: A Link To The Past. It contains the entrance to Skull Dungeon." As they have it, the Skull Woods is the forest parallel to the Lost Woods in the Dark World. They call the dungeon within Skull dungeon. Is it possible that Skeleton Forest is referring to the forest over all in one of the two translations? Which one? Also, this raises the question: Which translation do we use?
EDIT: While I'm at it: NO EDIT WARS. It's a simple question that can be simply answered simply.
Well....It depends what it was called in the SNES version. I know for a fact that the Advance game calls the overall forest the "Skull Woods," because I have the book here showing it. And the dungeon within the Skull Woods is the "Skull Dungeon" I guess, if that's what you said it is inside. The Advance version was the one meant to correct anything Nintendo wished to correct from the SNES version, so I'd say the latest version would be the most correct one, but that's a matter of opinion. I just take it that they want us to go with the one they released most recently. So my final answer would probably be the "Skull Woods" is the name of the forest, but the name of the dungeon is the "Skull Dungeon." And I am looking at the page with the dungeon's maps on it, and it also says "Skull Dungeon" for the main dungeon within the Skull Woods. Hero of Time 87 02:36, 31 March 2008 (UTC)
Damn, there goes today's edit war >.< well, in my opinion, if Nintendo corrected everything they wanted to in the Advance translation, the same names should be used here. We don't want Nintendo's non-intended article names here do we?

What to do about this whole naming situation? Now people go around changing it again. Anyway, the GBA version, as stated above, refers to the dungeon as "Skull Woods". I can't even recall anything being called a "Skull Palace". And what then of the forest it is located in? Is it a separate location with a different name or part of the dungeon? For the matter, which translation are we following here? This is a problem.
I've just got "Skull Dungeon." But yeah, I agree, what's there is wrong.

I think we have the names wrong here. I think the "Skull Woods" page should be called "Skeleton Forest" and this page should be called "Skull Woods". The way it is now makes no sense, and where did the name "Skull Palace" come from? With that, I am off for the night.
