Easter Eggs

An Easter egg is a term used to describe a cameo or a brief appearance for someone or something that comes within the game.

• There is a mask that resembles Majora's Mask hanging in Link's House. Once Link gains the ability to merge with the wall, he can do so in his house and slide behind Majora's Mask, making it seem as if he is wearing the mask.

• Ravio's Journal can be found in the Vacant House in Hero Mode and explains briefly why he left Princess Hilda.

• In certain houses in Kakariko Village, Link can find pictures of Makar from The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker. By using the merge ability, Link can slide behind the picture to look as if he is wearing Makar's mask.

• Toward the top right corner of the Lorule map, Link can walk through a waterfall where he can find a Hinox that will offer a blue Rupee to spare his life. If Link decides to spare him, the Hinox will say "keep it a secret to everyone" which is a reference to a quote from The Legend of Zelda.
