The Triforce Trilogy was the intended name for a trio of Zelda games designed for Game Boy Color. Two of the games, The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Seasons and The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Ages, were released, and can be main-linked to one another. The third planned game for the trilogy was to be The Legend of Zelda: Mystical Seed of Courage; where Oracle of Seasons and Oracle of Ages had storylines featuring characters named for the goddesses Din and Nayru, Mystical Seed was to have had a character named after Farore. The third game was ultimately scrapped owing to complications in trying to link three games by a password system, and Oracle of Seasons and Oracle of Ages received the names under which they were released.
