Toronbo Shores is a location from The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening. It is a beach on Koholint Island, where Link washes ashore after a shipwreck. He is found here by a young lady named Marin, who brings him back to her home in the nearby Mabe Village and nurses him back to health. After waking, Link returns to Toronbo Shores to reclaim his lost sword. Later, Link finds Marin here when he needs her to sing to a Walrus who is blocking a path Link needs to travel.
The alligator merchant, Sale, has his banana shop set up on Toronbo Shores. Link must visit it during the quest for the Magnifying Lens. After Link completes the quest and obtains the Magnifying Lens, he can go into a cave on Toronbo Shores, and trade one of his items for the Boomerang with the Boomerang Dealer.
Several enemies are found on Toronbo Shores, including Leevers, Octoroks and Sea Urchins. Also, digging with the shovel in the sand sometimes yields Rupees or hearts.
