"Are the fins damp lately?"
— Toto

Toto is a character from The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask. He is one of the twenty people listed in the Bombers' Notebook.

Toto is a short, rotund Zora and manager of The Indigo-Go's, the famous Zora band. Toto travels to Clock Town to speak with Madame Aroma regarding the band's performance at the Carnival of Time, as a problem has arisen; Lulu, the lead singer, has lost her voice. Because of this, Toto must cancel their performance at the carnival, causing the performance by Gorman's troupe to be canceled as well.

Biography[]

Spoiler warning: Plot or ending details follow.

After telling Madame Aroma and Gorman the bad news, Toto heads to the Milk Bar to do a sound check, as he was hoping the band would play in the bar. Link comes to his aid by participating in the sound check. Using his Hylian form along with his Deku, Goron, and Zora forms, he plays four different instruments to create the "Ballad of the Wind Fish", the most famous song of The Indigo-Go's.

Doing this greatly pleases Toto, as well as Gorman, who is sulking at the bar's table over the cancellation of his troupe's performance. Gorman reminisces about how hearing this song influenced him to enter show business and rewards Link with the Circus Leader's Mask to apologize for booing Link as he was performing.
