From Beyond The Stars "El-ahrairah and Rabscuttle set out on their dark journey. What way they went I don't know and no rabbit knows. But I always remember what old Feverfew - d'you remember him? - used to say when he told this story. "They didn't take long," he said. "They took no time at all. No. They limped and stumbled through a bad dream to that terrible place they were bound for. Where they were travelling, the sun and moon mean nothing and winter and summer less. But you will never know" - and then he used to look all round at us - "you will never know and neither do I, how far El-ahrairah went on his journey into the dark. You see the top of a great stone sticking out of the ground. How far is it to the middle? Split the stone. Then you'll know" - Dandelion, Watership Down

Y HALLO THAR, guis. If for some bizarre reason you wanna drop me a note, this be the place to do it, methinks. Please make a new header for every section; helps my befuddled brain see your message easier. Dankeshun!

About you reverting my edits

Please excuse me for asking this, but why did you revert so many of my edits? Some of them you didn't leave message as to why while some of the others I would like to argue about. It was already agreed that the Hyrule Historia is confirmed information on this wiki in case you didn't know. Also, what did you mean by "smiling =/= speech" and "Early Installment Weirdness"? --Zakitaro (talk) 11:48, May 6, 2015 (UTC)

Link smiling does not equal Link not being speechless. Christianity was Early Installment Weirdness and was phased out with the development of the Golden Goddesses, so your comment was already nullified by the article.

Try following the Manual of Style and making better edits in general. -Stars talk 20:27, May 6, 2015 (UTC)

If I may write something in my defense, Link smiling is still a non-verbal communication so I think that's something to note about. It is often shown that Link doesn't speak but rather uses non-verbal communication to show how he feels (to the players). I'm not sure about the Christianity thing so you may be right about that.

As I've previously mentioned before, the credibility for Hyrule Historia has already been discussed as official for the time being on this wiki through one of the talk pages for it. If you feel there is something wrong with the edit I did, then please tell me so that I may ether write something in my defense or learn from my mistakes. --Zakitaro (talk) 10:20, May 7, 2015 (UTC)

A long time

I have been gone so long that I now see that Stars is back! I really did drop off of the face of Zeldapedia forever. --Birdman5589 (talk) 23:36, January 5, 2016 (UTC)

On Hyrule Warriors

Hey, Stars. Since you're back and in an editing fury (which is great to see!), and since you've probably encountered it a bit already, I thought I'd bring you up to speed on the Hyrule Warriors situation.

To keep it brief, we have a user who has managed to amass almost 30,000 edits over the past few years, most of them unnecessary and unpatrolled. 2015 - 2017 was probably the largest stretch of quiet on Zeldapedia in its history, where even I didn't have the time or motivation to patrol the RC and keep up with the sheer amount of editing that was happening by this one single user.

Their activity seems to have died down a bit, but the damage has essentially been done, and most of it involves any and all pages relating to Hyrule Warriors. To put it bluntly, they're messes. Every single one of them. I have some semblance of a to-do list on my page that breaks down some of the issues, but it's really a systematic thing that I'm not sure if we'll ever be able to clean up.

I partly blame myself for lapsing and allowing it to become so ingrained into hundreds of pages on the site, but either way, if you want to go down the rabbit hole (or if you ever get tired of redirects), the vast majority of Hyrule Warriors-related pages are in shambles, and sorely need cleaning up.

This wasn't brief at all, so my apologies for that, but I figured I'd let you know some of what's been going on.

I'm ashamed to say I own Hyrule Warriors definitive and have barely played it =( I have noticed while doing redirects there is a massive amount of double linking and generally poor formatting, once I've finished redirects I do plan on going back and fixing some of these things, but without knowing very much about the game it can be hard to cut down the amount of waffle on a lot of the pages. I see a lot of the Breath of the Wild pages in a similar situation; it's just one of those things when a new game comes out, that new users get excited and protocols forgotten.

Thanks for bringing me up to speed, I'll put that next on my to do list, since there isn't a lot content wise I can add to the wiki nowadays.

No problem, you're definitely right about new games and new users. Of course you're under no pressure whatsoever to jump back in and try and fix stuff here, so it's very encouraging for me to see someone from the old days that knows what they're doing in terms of formatting and such willing to come back and put in some work.

Keeping you in the loop

Hey, Stars. You're the only established user other than Oni that I know of that still pops in here from time to time, so I thought I'd drop you a message to let you know that we're going to be changing the background and color scheme of ZP. Hopefully give it a fresher look and keep it more up-to-date. Like I told Oni, I value your opinion on these matters, so if you have any strong feelings about keeping things how they are, let me know. Cheers! – Ceiling Master 22:54, April 9, 2019 (UTC)
