The Walrus is a character from The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening. This huge, hulking walrus at one point impedes Link in his quest to retrieve the Instruments of the Sirens.

Lazy and overweight, the sleeping Walrus can be found East of the Bay, blocking the path to Yarna Desert, south of Animal Village. In order to move the creature, Link must bring Marin along with him, and have her sing the "Ballad of the Wind Fish" for the Walrus. The Walrus awakens from its sound sleep and happily "dances" to the sound of of the music before falling into the nearby ocean, allowing Link to pass and Marin to return to Animal Village to sing for the animals.
