Warm Safflina is an item from The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. Link can use it in cooking to create "Spicy" food dishes that grant cold resistance. It can also be cooked with Summerwing Butterfly or Warm Darner and monster parts to create Spicy Elixirs. It is classified as an herb and can be used to create herb-based food dishes such as Herb Sauté. Like all herbs it is also classified as a vegetable and occasionally can be used to create vegetable based dishes such as Glazed Veggies and Veggie Rice Balls.
It is also used in upgrading the Snowquill Headdress, Tunic and Trousers set.
