The Weird Egg is a quest item from The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. Identical in appearance to the Pocket Egg, it is given to Link by Malon. On the dawn of the day after Link obtains the egg, it hatches into a Cucco. This Cucco can be used to wake up Talon outside Hyrule Castle. When Talon awakes, he runs back to Lon Lon Ranch, allowing Link to push the crates so he can sneak into the castle.
