The "Wind God's Aria" (風神の唄 Fūjin no Uta?, Wind God's Song) is a song from The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker. The melody of the song is the second part of the game's opening medley. It is a prayer to the gods to restore half of the Master Sword.
Interestingly, when played in front of a broken sign, the sign will re-assemble, which is similar to the effects "Zelda's Lullaby" has when played in The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time and when the "Song of Healing" is played in The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask.

The "Wind God's Aria" is taught to Link by Fado. Fado was the Sage of Wind until Molgera's magic killed him inside the Wind Temple. His spirit remained, in the hopes that the new Sage of Wind could be awakened. Makar awakens as the new Sage, when he plays the song on his violin to open the Wind Temple. Makar plays only half of the song upon destroying the stone that blocks the entrance to the temple; but after Makar is awakened as the Wind Sage, he can be found in what was once the dungeon boss's room. He offers to play the entire song, thereby fully restoring the power to repel evil within the Master Sword.
