- "A portable bundle of wood. You can use this to make a campfire if you have something to light it."
- — In-game description
Wood is an item from The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. It is a collectible material used to build a campfire. These pieces of wood can be found by Link by cutting trees or fallen trunks with a sword or an axe, or by picking up felled or lying logs. This item was called Firewood in early builds of the game.
Link can make a fire anywhere by lighting a bundle of wood he carries, for example with a lit torch, Fire or Bomb Arrows, or by striking Flint with a metal weapon; however, rain or strong wind will put out any lit campfires unless it is covered.
