Wryna is a character from The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword. A resident of Skyloft, she is the wife of Jakamar and the mother of Kukiel. She is described as a woman of boundless imagination, which serves as a source of artistic inspiration for Jakamar.

Early on in the game, Kukiel begins disappearing during the day, only to return home at night. Eventually, however, Wryna comes to worry when she fails to even return home. She enlists the aid of Link in order to find her daughter, while she also performs her own search. Link eventually finds Kukiel with the friendly demon Batreaux, and when Link returns to tell Wryna and Jakamar, the delighted couple provides him with five Gratitude Crystals.

Etymology[]
As many residents of Skyloft seem to be named after birds, it is possible that Wryna is named after the wren.
