Zauz Island is a location in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. It is located in the Lanayru Wetlands region in the Lanayru province of Hyrule.
Etymology[]
Like many locations in Breath of the Wild, Zauz Island is named after a character from a previous game, namely Zauz. It is also a reference to Zauz's Island where Zauz lived in Phantom Hourglass.
