Week 44: Chudley vs. Link's Butler[]
Winner! "Link's Butler!" 14.5<22.5 |

LLLLLLLLLLLLLLADIES AND GENTLEMEN! We are now proud to present to you the 44th week of the TEMPLE OF COURAGE! All right! To all patrons, if you are not clean, please leave at once. In the left corner, we have the snobbish owner of the most expensive store in all of Hyrule! Extremely germophobic, he prices his merchandice as high as the heavens and hates Link; It's CHUUUUUUUUUDLEY! And in the right corner, we have propped up a door with the image of a man on it. Guardian of the Private Oasis, he is fiercely loyal to his master and hates children; It's THE BUTLEEEEEEEEER! Two of the meanest, snobbiest, most germophobic men ever to stand in this Temple will now face off in a battle of snobbishness. Who will win? As always, it's up to you, my dear voters! We cannot delay any longer, so LLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLET'S GET READY TO RUMBLLLLLLLLLLLLLE! Yeah!

Oh no, I just realized that Majora only beat Zant by 24 votes, which means that Big Poe vs. Them is still the most one-sided fight ever. Xykeb Yvolix Zraliv 21:22, 20 April 2009 (UTC) Well, PK if you're going to abandon Bombers vs. Killer Bees, then I'm going to start suggesting it. The fight is pretty good and is almost always right on the win line. Metroidhunter32 22:14, 20 April 2009 (UTC) I'm supporting you/myself all the way! Portal-Kombat I'd kill for a fight that didn't end up becoming one-sided almost immediately. But I guess such a thing don't exist. --Big Poe=Nice Guy 01:52, 25 April 2009 (UTC) ! 01:54, 25 April 2009 (UTC)

Week 43: Majora vs. Zant[]
Winner! "Majora!" 41.5>17.5 |
||||||
LLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLADIES AND GENTLEMEN! We are now proud to bring you the explosive 43rd week in the TEMPLE OF COURAGE! All right! And what a fight we have for you this week! In the purple corner floats a frightening visage, confined to a mask. Supposedly trapped there for thousands of years, he has the power of a god, no grip on his sanity, the ability to change shape, and a desire to destroy Termina; it's MAJORAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA! And shrouded in shadows in the brown corner, a man whose mask terrifies all. Tossed aside by his people, he too has the power of a god, a slippery grip on sanity, can change himself and the world around him, and wishes to conquer Hyrule; it's ZAAAAAAAAAAAAAAANT! Two terrifying, monstrous, insane, all-powerful beings get ready to clash. But in the end, only one will walk away a champion. Who will win? Will the Temple of Courage even survive? That, my dear voters is up to you! We all want to see this fight, so LLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLET'S GET READY TO RUMBLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLE! Yeah!

Peanut Gallery[]Why do so many people think that these two guys are insane? That thought never crossed my mind. Unless I'm mistakened (and I'm not) except for Twilight Princess Ganondorf/Ganon always goes into a psychopathic rage when everything falls apart for him so that could just easily be the same scenario. --Big Poe=Nice Guy 01:08, 13 April 2009 (UTC)
How are you not seeing Zant going insane? Also, I very strongly disagree that Ganondorf ever shows insane tendencies (well, at least in the games I've played, but I kind of doubt that he's showing more personality in the 2D games). Xykeb Yvolix Zraliv 03:52, 13 April 2009 (UTC)
guys, i am Shade Link. that 9th vote was mine, but for some reason, i got logged out, and i can't find my password, so do not delete the vote yet! never mind i got back on.--Shade Link 13:05, 13 April 2009 (UTC) Guys, I just finished creating a new article: Gold Phantom. Can someone please help find a picture of one and upload it? thanks! --Shade Link 18:08, 13 April 2009 (UTC)
Yeah i know, but the password stuff was just being used to tell everyone so they did not delete my vote until i got back on. The Gold Phantom part was just to alert people, so they could add stuff on the page if they knew something i did not put.--Shade Link 21:40, 13 April 2009 (UTC) Yeah....and the Gold Phantom article has absolutely nothing to do with the Temple of Courage. What you're doing here is taking advantage of the Temple of Courage's popularity to advertise an article that you made and want people to improve. Xykeb Yvolix Zraliv 00:18, 14 April 2009 (UTC) XYZ, i am not taking advantage of the Temple of Courage, telling somebody about a new article is not advertising. Plus, i am sure a few quotes in the peanut gallery don't have anything to do with the Temple of Courage. Lets NOT debate of what we think and know, because this would lead to a GIGANTIC argument of insults, comebacks, and proving their points till the end of time.--Shade Link 12:58, 14 April 2009 (UTC)
Grrrrr. I smell foul play. Revenge! REVENGE!!! DekutullaZM (Sweatdrop) Why is everyone writing essays here this week. Also, it's time to archive. Sincerely, Watcher.
Is it just me or did all those anonymous votes for Zant come out of nowhere? They also seem oddly tied together, as if one string of horribly spelled sentences were made into 30-something votes. Katamariqueen 17:06, 15 April 2009 (UTC)
Kinda hard to believe how one-sided this fight is. Looks like you were right AK: someone saying this fight is the coolest ever does make it one-sided. --Big Poe=Nice Guy 20:30, 15 April 2009 (UTC)
Why is it that nobody keeps things like this long enough so we can bann the IP of whoever did it? Darkest-Link123 23:21, 15 April 2009 (UTC) Uh to Sorcerer Vaati, Zant didn't die when Midna impaled him with her hair spears. It did temporarily kill him but according to his dialogue Ganondorf eventually resurrected him. Zant was killed at the very end of the game when he saw Ganondorf dying and upon realizing that he's screwed anyway he committed suicide by breaking his neck. --Big Poe=Nice Guy 02:17, 16 April 2009 (UTC)
Umm...I was on when all those anonymous votes where on and I found that there was 35 of them in total. Crazy! User:Ccbermanzzpedia 2:21, 16 April 2009 (UTC) Now that I think about it all those anonymous votes for Zant are totally legal, just crazy, but they should be put back on, agreeing with a comment above me. User:Ccbermanzzpedia 8:15, same date as my last comment.
True, thats why you get the IP and say "Hey guys they all have the same IP" and then bann it. Or you could use area code thats 95% chance their all the same person with just 2 people so I dont think anyone would argue. Darkest-Link123 01:34, 17 April 2009 (UTC) The problem is that (most ;).) anonymous votes have no signature and it's difficult to prove they are the same person. Have we no mods who wish to serve justice? Anyway you can check on the history, signed or not it will tell you the IP. You just cant find the area code this way you need a mod for that.Darkest-Link123 03:52, 17 April 2009 (UTC) All right whoever put those on there was wrong, I'm just saying that a few of them might have been somebody else and then it would be wrong to take those comments away. You know what, just leave them ALL off and if the same person does it again just block them. All that I'm saying is that there is the outside chance that not all of them are the same person, and then it would be unfair to take all of them off. Either way it's crazy how many there were! User:Ccbermanzzpedia 10:05, April 17th 2009
Okay, then keep them keep them off. I guess I was mistaken. It was unfair that they were all put on, and somebody needs to think of something that will prevent them from voting more than once other than honesty, but don't look at me to figure someting out because I'm not a computer wiz, I just come up with ideas. Maybe make a rule about anonoymous votes that limits people from voting more than once. Put it on next week so that no one gets upset, but don't say "Upset about what?" How the hell would I konw, people are wierd like that, besides it seems more officail if rules are changed or added in between matches, no? User:Ccbermanzzpedia 10:52 April 17 2009
I see now, and well it sucks, but that's just me voiceing my gripes again, I shall look out for this vandal and will (if I notice him/her) shall report them imedately! And wow there were that many votes?, even if I counted them it's still a shocker! User:Ccbermanzzpedia 11:23 April 17th 2009 Wow. I think this is the most voters we have ever gotten. Majora has thirty votes for him alone. Even in big poe vs. Them, them/they only had 25 and then there all the votes for zant. That is a total of over fourty voters. Metroidhunter32 11:49, 18 April 2009 (UTC) Double Wow. Majora now has 40 votes! Zant has 17.5 and it looks as if there's over 70 voters so far! Portal-Kombat Even though this probably has nothing to do with the ToC I just realized this and thought I should post this. If you think of roles as far as stories goes they're pretty much vice-versa of each other. In both MM and TP for a majority of the game you think someone is the main villain before it's revealed that another dude is the main villain. In MM the player originally thought Skull Kid was behind it all before Majora came into play whilst in TP we thought Zant was doing all this but Ganondorf was really behind it all. Anyone ever noticed that? --Big Poe=Nice Guy 20:29, 19 April 2009 (UTC) Yeah, same thing with Vaati in Four Swords Adventures. It's also blatantly overused in the Subspace Emissary of Super Smash Bros. Brawl. (all random villains work for Master Hand, who works for Tabuu) Also, in cases where one villain is controlled by another it usually feels way less climactic that way, save for Majora's Mask. I thought that it would be cool if you JUST fought Vaati or JUST fought Zant without some overused, tacked-on stupid villain with a bad haircut pulling the strings. Portal-Kombat That is true and I did personally find Ganondorf's inclusion in TP unwelcome. Zant's aura of sophistication and sheer terror from the Mask he wore coupled with the very first quote his said in the game being outright ruthless and yet nonchalant ("So you have two choices: surrender or die!") made him tied to Majora as far as greatest Zelda villains go for me. Of course when it's revealed Ganondorf was just pulling the strings that did kinda make him less evil and when it was revealed he was a friggin' psycho that just made me hate Nintendo for a spell. They create an evil villain, an aura of evilness etc. and then make the battle disappointing-as-Hell. Shigeru has no problem doing this is recent times as shown in the final battles of TP and Super Mario Sunshine. --Big Poe=Nice Guy 23:26, 19 April 2009 (UTC) Super Mario Sunshine has the most letdown of a final boss ever, but Twilight Princess Ganondorf is very disappointing too. I don't want to say that a final boss can "make or break the game" because that's certainly not true, both Twilight Princess and Super Mario Sunshine were good games in my opinion. But lame final bosses do leave bad lasting impressions of the game. That's why awesome final bosses are so awesome (redundant) Portal-Kombat In my opinion the biggest letdown of a final boss ever is probably Marluxia from the remake of Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories (which is the only KH remake that is available in the US). Bowser was an incompetent oaf and Ganondorf barely even appeared so when such a badass turns out to fall over like... damn it mental block can't think of analogy... but either you get what I mean. --Big Poe=Nice Guy 20:45, 20 April 2009 (UTC) |
Week 42: Postman vs. Quill[]
Winner! "Postman!" 26 > 15 |
||||||
LLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLADIES AND GENTLEMEN! We are now proud to present the 42nd week in the TEMPLE OF COURAGE! All right! After the match, we shall provide you with free postal services! In the red corner stands perhaps the fastest man in all of Hyrule. Running a lonely race, he delivers letters within minutes of their writing, can recognize his clients anywhere, and is brave enough to cross monster-infested fields: It's THE POSTMAAAAAAAAAAAAN! And, in the blue corner, flies the Great Sea's most dedicated postman. He can deliver letters to all of the islands in the sea within a day, personally helps his clients when they need it, and will brave even the harshest of storms: It's QUIIIIIIIIIIIIILL! Two of the best mailmen in the world going head to head in the fastest bount you've ever seen! Will you be able to keep up? Who will win? That, my dear voters is up to you! I can't hold it in any longer, so LLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLET'S GET READY TO RUMBLLLLLLLLLLLLLLE! Yeah!

Peanut Gallery[]Can't believe the Zelda II vs. Water Temple fight didn't go through. This is somewhat of a letdown. --AuronKaizer(...Kaizer!) 03:44, 6 April 2009 (UTC) I can't believe Chudly vs. Cannon didn't make it... Dark Ridley 04:31, 6 April 2009 (UTC) This past week was the closest I have ever seen. Postman vs. Quill, Chudley vs. Cannon, Water Temple vs. Zelda II, and Guru-Guru vs Composer Brothers all had a chance of winning. This one had +5. The other three had +4. --EveryDayJoe45 04:39, 6 April 2009 (UTC)
out of all the above this is probly the one i wanted to go through the least. although i didnt oppose it i think. maybe i should of. a well too late now. Oni Dark Link 09:22, 6 April 2009 (UTC)
Bulbin Slayer, you posted your vote benath the BIG, HUGE, OBVIOUS line. You are the weakest link. Goodbye. --DekutullaZM 21:11, 6 April 2009 (UTC) ONCE MORE! WHY is it called the peanut gallery?? --DekutullaZM 21:11, 6 April 2009 (UTC) I had considered voting an oppose on this one just so it was a four way tie but I decided that that would not be cool. Metroidhunter32 21:31, 6 April 2009 (UTC) This is a PRE-note: Please ignore Bulbin-Slayers vote! He didn't mean it! Mrs.MikauShadLink 22:43, 6 April 2009 (UTC)
DekutullaZM, this is called the peanut galery because many events have crowds of people watching them, moat people here come here every few days and this is where we coment and argue about pretty much anything (usually it has some thing to do with the current pole) get it? From, Midna Rocks
...Ack. My connection's being buggy - if a second vote from me appears, someone delete it? I've got to go, or I'd do it myself. Sorry! --Ryttu3k 07:37, 7 April 2009 (UTC) i know its not my place to tell an admin this but... auron keep it clean (yes i stole your line again) Oni Dark Link 13:35, 7 April 2009 (UTC) To AuronKaizer; I just didn't want a WW vs. TP fight to break out because of BulbinSlayer's vote. Mrs.MikauShadLink 22:38, 7 April 2009 (UTC) wow, this was a quick fight. i am sure i know who is gonna win this game eh? you seem to be in a happy mood this week AK. ^_^ once again, great humor!--Shade Link 17:32, 8 April 2009 (UTC) Wow. Okay... You know, it makes ya wonder...were those salted peanuts? And if they were, did the audience suck the salt off before they threw the peanuts? Hm..... (The philosophizer of strange subjects, --DekutullaZM 23:31, 8 April 2009 (UTC)) Hmmm. As of know, Postman has double the user votes Quill has, whereas Quill has twice as many anonymous votes to the postman's. Interesting turn of events. --DekutullaZM 17:51, 9 April 2009 (UTC)
Um, how many of you guys warrant the deletion of the anonymous vote for Postman? Xykeb Yvolix Zraliv 00:44, 12 April 2009 (UTC) Delete it. I was going to do it myself but it looked like some other votes were removed in the process, which doesn't make sense if they all voted for the same thing so I was stopped by confusion. Metroidhunter32 01:20, 12 April 2009 (UTC) Wait, why?--DekutullaZM 13:35, 12 April 2009 (UTC) |

NOBODY KNOWS!!! In the right corner we have the mysterious ghost/aliens simply known as... THEM. These mysterious creatures will come at you endlessly until the dawn destroys them. Peanut Gallery[]Ok, this is the first time that the color has been adjusted universally for a column that is too dark. I did this so that we would be able to see the words without highlighting them or whatnot. If this decision isn't supported then it can be changed. Dialask77 Ice Wizard 12:48, 31 March 2009 (UTC)
Oh God them is going to win by a rape Darkest-Link123 23:23, 31 March 2009 (UTC)
Also the fanboys haven't cast their 30 lots in yet so hold judgment. Metroidhunter32 23:26, 31 March 2009 (UTC) Close game, eh fellas? anyways, I hope this week ends quickly, because 1. I want to see who wins after this, and 2. I am just bored, because it is not much of a fight here. Ah well.--Shade Link 20:09, 1 April 2009 (UTC)
Wow, I've created the most one-sided fight ever. Xykeb Yvolix Zraliv 21:02, 1 April 2009 (UTC)
Yes you have Xykeb, good idea though. From, Midna Rocks. Two good things has almost certanly came from it though. One we see that a lot of people have played one of the greatest zelda games ever. Two those who haven't will be curious what it is about them that is winning such single minded devotion and go play it. So the greatness continous to spread. Metroidhunter32 22:02, 1 April 2009 (UTC) ive been surprised repeaditly since i jioned zeldapedia as to how many people believe majoras mask is better then ocerina of time (something i believe too) Oni Dark Link 16:28, 2 April 2009 (UTC) I'm a Majora's Mask fan. My second favorite Zelda game ever. Wind Waker is my favorite. Portal-Kombat I personally like Ocarina of Time best. So many temples, so many amazing songs (all of which I have downloaded onto my iPod. Gamefreak? Nah) and an amazing story line. Majora's Mask is a close second, then Wind Waker, and then A Link to the Past. Yay for dorks! Mrs.MikauShadLink 22:26, 2 April 2009 (UTC) That poor big poe...Darkest-Link123 03:13, 3 April 2009 (UTC) aaa i like majoras mask the best. so many side quests and mini games as well as some of the best dungeon (even if there was only four) Oni Dark Link 13:55, 3 April 2009 (UTC) The sidequests were what made me love Majora's Mask so much- three of the four temples were extremely difficult for me to finish (you can guess which one was easy) and the Moon Dungeon was so cool. Portal-Kombat Great, another which game is better argument. From Midna Rocks
Did somebody erase my name on my vote earlier or did I forget to sign it? From Midna Rocks not that im one to talk but THEM certainly does create alot of bad grammer Oni Dark Link 21:56, 3 April 2009 (UTC)
because xyz (no offense now) you are quite obsesive about grammer and spelling (although not as much recently i notice) Oni Dark Link 22:36, 3 April 2009 (UTC) Well, I only oppose bad grammar if I can do anything about it. In this case, I'm not going to let it get in the way of a fight I'm going to suggest. And no, I'm just as obsessive, I just no longer have opportunities to do anything about it. Which is actually probably a good thing, given how annoyed people tend to get. Xykeb Yvolix Zraliv 22:43, 3 April 2009 (UTC) Sorry to disappoint you XYZ, but unless you created Sheik vs. Tetra (which, by my count, was 21>1.5) you don't have the most one sided fight ever. Or do you mean in proportion of votes? Sincerely, Watcher. This is 24.5-2.5 at the moment, so "They" are winning by 22 votes, whereas Sheik won by 19.5 votes. Xykeb Yvolix Zraliv 05:55, 4 April 2009 (UTC)
yeah it does but thats what confuses things Oni Dark Link 19:04, 4 April 2009 (UTC) Ugh. I feel sorry for the Poe. Way to make the winner obvious, XYZ! Say...why's this called the peanut gallery? --DekutullaZM 19:43, 4 April 2009 (UTC) This is a landslide. poor big poe is gonna have to do some serious come back. --Molgera the octo 00:54, 6 April 2009 (UTC)Molgera the octo
