Week 61: Old Man Ho Ho vs. Shikashi[]

Old Man Ho Ho Figurine
Winner!
:"Shikashi!"
Shikashi

Shikashi

IIIIIIIIIIIIIT'SSSSSSSSSSS finally here! Yes, after far too long, Week 61 in the Temple of Courage is here to stay! This week, my dear voters, we have quite a special fight for you! Yes, two old men, arthritic and possibly senile here to fight to the death! Their weapon of choice? Strangely enough, they both chose telescopes.

In the gray corner, we have the saltiest sailor you'll ever find on the Great Sea! Always with his captain's hat, trusty telescope and the ability to seemingly be everywhere at once, it's OLD! MAN! HO HOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

And in the blue corner, hunched over his mighty 'scope in his observatory in the heart of Termina Field, resplendant in a blue robe and hat, it's SHIKAAAAAAAAAAAAAAASHIIIIIIIIIIIIII!

Two wizened old codgers now prepare for a battle to the death. Who will come out on top, and who will be sent to a rat-infested retirement home? That, my dear voters, is up to you! And me, I vote too. Now LEEEEEEEEET'SSSSSSS GET READY TO RRRRRUUUUUMMMMMMBLLLLLLE! Hooray!

Votes for Old Man Ho Ho[]

  1. Old man Ho Ho Was funny and actualy seemed to have a point, I dont even remember the other guy--LEEKDUCK
  2. Ho Ho Ho Ho! HOHOHOHO! HO HO HO!! HO HO HO HO HO HO HO HO HO HO HO HO! HO HOHO(HIGHLIGHT TO SEE TRANSLATION->)Old Man Ho Ho! He likes to ho! HO HO PWNS!! Old Man Ho Ho is a cool guy with a telescope! No contest!--Shade Link
  3. Ho ho! I see eight seagulls..... Xykeb Yvolix Zraliv 17:53, 23 August 2009 (UTC)
  4. My vote goes to this guy. Did you know he has a secret hiding place on the mast of one of the wrecked boats near the Forsaken Fortress? It's completely true, tried and tested. You can even fly over to him with the Deku Leaf.--MaloMart (talk) 19:26, 23 August 2009 (UTC)
  5. That's awesome! And guess what else? He controls all of the cannon boats on the Great Sea! Yep! Once I was talking to him and he said he saw something interesting, so I stood where he was standing and looked through my own telescope. Oddly enough everything went black- I was looking straight into a cannon! BOOOOM Portal-Kombat
  6. Ho ho ho! Shikashi is scary!Midna Rocks
  7. If not for this guy, I wouldn't have found half of the secrets in the Wind Waker. Okay, that's an exaggeration, but Old Man Ho Ho is more helpful overall. That Shikashi guy? I looked through his telescope 3 times, twice for a Moon Pearl, and another just to look around (which actually led to something good). Jedimasterlink (talk) 02:37, 24 August 2009 (UTC)
  8. Ho ho is cool and kinda weird.... but cool. --Nunovanhalen (talk) 21:00, 24 August 2009 (UTC)
  9. Shikashi may have had a bigger telescope, but the Ho-hos' were more useful! User:mr. biggles
  10. Old Man Ho Ho is an interesting and helpful character. (Note: He doesn't seem to actually be an old man.) Signed, The Recondite Sage
  11. Since I finally got WW I can finally make a fair vote. Both of these dudes were in 2 games, and I have all 4, they're both old, but i like hoho because HES EVERYWHERE (and he has a whole clan in PH)there's only 1 Shikashi, and all you do is get a moon tear with it (but it can lead to a few peices of heart) That was long... Cybrwulf
  12. Zeerotytus enjoys Ho Ho and his funny helpful hints. I did not enjoy watching skull kid do his little "dance" however.--Zeerotytus (talk)/01:36, 27 August 2009 (UTC)
  13. Ho Ho gave hints. Shikashi did not. Who wins? Ho Ho. -Sage of thunder

  1. Using Shikashi's telescope is essential to gameplay, but Old Man Ho Ho isn't... Even so, Ho Ho shows you the way to many delightful prizes.
  2. His red eye frightenes me, but he looks cooler then the old man, although they're both pretty cool.
  3. He was way more usefull.
  4. ho ho... i see a winner on the sea.
  5. Your the one whos senile the old man is oviously 20 years younger then shikashi.
  6. i think ho ho should win because he is usful and without him no one would ever had fully completed the game

Votes for Shikashi[]

  1. I always like this guy. --EveryDayJoe45 (talk) 20:39, 23 August 2009 (UTC)
  2. Theres just something about Shikashi that gives me the impression that he is very wise. Ho Ho over there on the other hand just seems weird. Metroidhunter32 23:11, 23 August 2009 (UTC)
  3. Ho Ho was kinda weird and didnt really have that much impact on me. Well....neither did Shikashi honestly. But at least you had to see Shikashi a bunch of times to complete the game and get all the items/masks. And I think MM was better than WW or PH. And Shikashi had a more epic telescope. User:HeroofAwesome
  4. Shikashi. It's kind of creepy how when you talk to him in Majora's Mask, he turns around and stares into your eyes. So anyway, Shikashi. The Midna 22:55 23 August 2009(talk) Midna Laughing
  5. Shikashi was cool in MM.--Zelda phoenixMedli
  6. When I was lost in Clock Town for the first time, and I managed to get into the observatory, his calm demeanor and friendliness made me feel like the game was not going to scare the daylights out of me or that I wasn't going to have anybody to turn to. He gave me hope. —Baltro [ talk · edits ] 20:43, 24 August 2009 (UTC)
  7. Ho Ho just creeps me out. this guy's kinda cool.--DarkTriforce (talk) 20:56, 24 August 2009 (UTC)
  8. Well, this one wasn't even a contest for me. Ho Ho is just comic relief. Shikashi just seemed to have so much more character in both his games. He is the calming presence in the first 3 day cycle of Majora's mask. Besides, Shikashi's Hylian counterpart knows all about the Sheikah, how cool is that?Deku Hero Small Deku Guard
  9. Shikashi seems more relevant to the story than Ho Ho (Ho Ho just points out stuff that anyone who isn't blind would be able to find). And Ho Ho's Phantom Hourglass counterpart(s) never give me a decent price on my Treasures. Cheapskates... Diachronos (talk) 02:33, 25 August 2009 (UTC)

  12. Shikashi was actually important to the game, while Old Man Ho Ho wasn't. Sir Real
  13. I've always liked Shikashi's pleasant character. Plus I'll never forget when you first look through his telescope and you see Skull Kid shaking his bum at you. Oddball 464 03:07, 26 August 2009 (UTC)
  14. This guy studies the Universe with a NASA grade telescope and the other guy counts seagul-(snooore) Redeadhunter
  15. I'm sorry, but anyone who can live in a SEWER and not mutate has gotta be something special! Kamari no Hyrule
  16. I hardly ever see HoHo. Plus in Majoras Mask his telescope is essential to the first part of the game and a trading quest for heart pieces.--Green Courage 15:19, 28 August 2009 (UTC)
  17. Weird Wind Waker characters that serve no purpose? Not likin' it. This guy's name doesn't sound like a Black Eyed Peas song, at least. --AuronKaizer! 10:59, 29 August 2009 (UTC)
  18. Who the hell is Ho ho?! --MetalLocked! 10:59, 29 August 2009 (UTC)

  1. tough choice but i like this character in oot and since this is his counterpart i choose him
  2. sat wut u want, just no that Shikashi's is bigger.....telescope i mean.-Triforce of Stupidity
  3. This guy was cool i dont' even remember that short one lol
  4. I LOVE the music 4 the astronomagigy place, I bet they will need to change HO HO HO to HA HA HA like santa .
  5. This guy actually tells you where to go and what to look at. The half-pint idiot just said HO HO, look over in that vague direction at something only I can see! Seriously, the only way for the other guy to be of use is if you stumble upon those Big Octos by yourself.
  6. shikasi or whatever was way more important and more likable
  7. Shikashi was a friendly old man :) Not creepy like the other one with the red eye going "Ho HO!"
  8. Shishikia definitally hes th coolest
  9. shikia will win wahoo
  10. go shashikia
  11. He definitely murdered the man who's house was where the well is now
  12. He helps the secret society of justice: Bomber!

Woah. Now that's something I've never seen before. I'm going to go out and try it when I get a chance. Always finding new stuff in this game, and it was released in like what- 2002 or 2003? Incredible. Also, this fight's intro is great. Portal-Kombat

Wait a sec, you wanna try it out, yet in your vote you've already seen it? TIME PARADOX!--Shade Link

Hey guys, on the main page, it still says the fight is Dominion Rod vs Spinner. I'd change it, but I don't know how. User3000

I tried to, but when I checked the section in edit mode, there was nothing in the section for me to edit.--Shade LinkDark Link (Super Smash Bros. Brawl)

That part of the page comes from a Template. Go to Template:Temple of Courage to change it.(I tried already but it didn't work for some reason. Midna Rocks.

Might just be my computer, but the "suggest a fight" part isn't showing up on the main page. It does on the template page though. User3000

Just kidding. It works now. User3000

I hate to be a whiner but the blue on Shikashi's side is too intense for my eyes. The little black text is barely visible on the royal blue. Blue is nice, but could someone maybe try a lighter shade? Again, sorry to complain. {EDIT}: I just went ahead and fixed it. If anyone wants to, they can change it back. --Deku Hero Small Deku Guard

If you stare at dark things long enough, your eyes get used to it. See here and stare at it for a while.--Shade LinkDark Link (Super Smash Bros. Brawl)

Well, I guess I don't want to have to stare at it for more than a few seconds just to read it. I hate making waves, but sometimes the color selection for these fights is a little... 'over the top'. Gentler colors make for easier reads, not only that but if one side's text is glaringly hard to see and the hue is intense and garish it may sway some people's decisions. To make things fair, the color on one side should be comparable to the color on the other side. If no one else speaks up about this I'll leave it the way it is, I don't want to make changes to an already established institution if everyone else is opposed. --Deku Hero Small Deku Guard

This fight is pretty even so far. Hopefully it'll stay that way. Xykeb Yvolix Zraliv 16:28, 25 August 2009 (UTC)

It's Monday, should we get someone on it pretty soon?--RH

Umm, am I the new Watcher now? Because I don't know how to archive and this page badly needs it before I can put in a new fight.--MaloMart (talk) 06:06, 1 September 2009 (UTC)

Just copy the old fights, then open up a new tab/browser, create a page called "Zeldapedia: Temple of Courage/Archive (whatever number archive it is; 15 in this case)", paste it, add "{{archive}}" at the top, then save the page. Back on the Temple of Courage page, go to the archives box and add "[[Archive 15|Archive Fifteen: Weeks (something)-(something)]]". There's not really a "way" to archive other than to just move everything to a new page. Xykeb Yvolix Zraliv 07:24, 1 September 2009 (UTC)

Week 60: Dominion Rod vs. Spinner[]

Dominion Rod
Winner!
:"Spinner!"
Spinner

Spinner

LLLLLLLLLLLLADIES AND GENTLEMEN! We are now proud to present to you the (slightly delayed) 60th week in the TEMPLE OF COURAGE! All right! And this week's battle is a rarity, so don't take your eyes away!

In the green corner, we have a man wielding a small rod. Though ordinary at first, this weapon can bring statues to life, which may then obliterate one's foe with mighty hammer. Good people, it's the DOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMINON ROD!

And in the brown corner, we have a man mounted on a gear. Used for movement, this device can also pack quite a punch when used against your foes. Everybody, it's the SPIIIIIIIIIIIINNER!

So, two items, which, when used right, can become the ultimate weapon. But only one is truly the ultimate. Which one is it? That, my dear voters, is up to you! I can't wait for this fight, so LLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLET'S GET READY TO RUMBLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLE! Yeah!

Votes for Dominion Rod[]

  1. Woohoo! First vote! The Spinner was cool and all, but smashing things with that giant hammer was one of the highlights of Twilight Princess. It felt so good not be pushed around by Blade Traps anymore!--MaloMart (talk) 04:34, 12 August 2009 (UTC)
  2. Both of these are pretty much useless outside of their respective dungeons, but the fight with Armogohma was one of the best I've ever done. Baltro [ talk · edits ] 04:38, 12 August 2009 (UTC)
  3. The Spinner was cool for a while, but it got annoying how it lost momentum quickly when not attached to a groove in the wall. The Domininon Rod was underused, but when it was used, it was fun. Xykeb Yvolix Zraliv 04:48, 12 August 2009 (UTC)
  4. Sounds like a prop from a Fulvio slasher flick. Good enough for government work? Oh yes precious! Bring on the meat. --AuronKaizer! 11:56, 12 August 2009 (UTC)
  5. both were pretty underused, but it annoyed me that you couldn't use any other items while on the spinner. DragonPhoenix13 (talk) 15:04, 12 August 2009 (UTC)
  6. The dominion rod can control statues. no contest.--Shade Link
  7. The dominion rod can definitely beat the spinner because it's a rod that can control statues, all the spinner does is make you go up railings on the walls.--OokMaster
  8. With Dominion Rod,it's true that it did lose alot of value after the Temple of Time, but it was my favorite and believed to be the most unique weapon I've ever seen.Do you wanna bump into your enenmy or crush him with a giant statue? Link's Other Dark
  9. The spinner ticked me off when I was using it to get to Ganon. I had a lot of fun with the Dominion rod however. Making the statue smash the enemies made my day. Oddball 464 05:15, 13 August 2009 (UTC)
  10. Oh gosh, this one was really hard... but the Dominion Rod won out in the end for me. True, the spinner is awesome, but I like the Rod better. It was just awesome being able to command a huge statue and crush pretty much anything with it. Lisa URAQT Click it. You know you want to 20:15, 15 August 2009 (UTC)
  11. I was actually quite disappointed by the Spinner. While it is cool when on the walls, it is pretty lame otherwise. The dominion rod doesn't really have too much use outside of the temple of time, but at least it looks cool. The Spinner is just bizarre and cumbersome. Deku Hero Small Deku Guard19:52, 17 August 2009 (UTC)
  12. Err. . . I don't recall these . . . but this one looks cooler. And that's how I roll. ~Xicera, who is too lazy to log in

  1. I loved the battle against Armogohma! Besides, turning lifeless statues to life is awesome..
  2. Pity Vote, Dominion Rod was better when you could use it, Spinner was never very fun. Plus it reminded me of WW, good times....
  3. the rod. no competition. the spinner spun for like, three seconds. the rod brought things to life man! it was awesome.

Votes for Spinner[]

  1. They were both good items, but the Dominion Rod got screwed over because it lost a lot of its value once you left the Temple of Time ("value" meaning that none of the statues outside the Temple have any sort of combat abilities). If there were more statues that could fight outside the Temple, the Dominion Rod might get my vote. Can't say for sure, though... The Spinner is just too damn fun. Diachronos (talk) 11:10, 12 August 2009 (UTC)
  2. The Dominion Rod section of the game was okay, but think about it; it's really no different than any other part in the series where you control statues (Wind Waker, anyone?) except one of the statues you controlled had a hammer, and you also used hammers for the boss battle. Afterwards it was just those stupid owls. The spinner on the other hand is fun the whole time through, and gave a much-needed sense of speed in the game at sections and was one of the things introduced in Twilight Princess that I hope will eventually turn out to be a mainstay throughout the rest of the series. Portal-Kombat
  3. While both are almost utterly useless after the dungeons they are found in, the Spinner has more uses.(Darknut15 (talk) 18:28, 12 August 2009 (UTC))
  4. The Dominion Rod was fun, but could have been so much better. The spinner is only NEXT to useless after its respective dungeon. Bralef (talk) 19:00, 12 August 2009 (UTC)
  5. Couple more of those Spinner Tracks, and Hyrule has it's first real vehicle!--User:Redeadhunter
  6. Spinner was alot more usefll. they are both good items but they didnt put enough statues in the game fir the domain rod to get my vote. Oni Dark Link 21:53, 12 August 2009 (UTC)
  7. It's more useful overall. Though I hate both items.--DarkTriforce (talk) 23:23, 12 August 2009 (UTC)
  8. Both were completely awesome in thier respective temples, and both were useless afterwards. But the spinner was more original and would never have worked in any other Zelda. And it was fun to ride along the walls and smash Stallord. User:HeroofAwesome
  9. The dominion rod is useful and at the same time not useful. The spinner actually has a few more uses than the dominion rod. You can't really reach that many unreachable places with a very useless owl statue, either. And apperantly you can get a couple of pieces of heart using the spinner. User:Farore's Wind
  10. Tough one...I had to think before I voted. I'm going with the Spinner because you can ride it, which is fun when there are grooves. It's also fun during the fight with Stallord. The Midna (talk) 22:49 12 August 2009
  11. hate me, but i like the stallord battle more. the other one....not so much, beat it in three minutes flat, maybe faster but idc. other than that no big reason to vote here.--C2 Click it I DARE YOU! 02:44, 13 August 2009 (UTC)
  12. The spinner is a ton of fun! And kind of useful against Some enemies.--Ninjasquirrel (talk) 23:27, 13 August 2009 (UTC)
  13. I have too much fun with this not to vote for it. Midna Rocks
  14. This took some thinking, because both items are relatively useless outside their respective dungeons (and moving owl statues isn't much of a use) but are fun to use during that time. I went with the Spinner because it is more likely to be expanded on in a future game, where the Dominion Rod is closely tied to the story of the Oocca, which I doubt we'll see much of again. Jedimasterlink (talk) 01:24, 14 August 2009 (UTC)
  15. The stallord battle was better than armoghoma...User:Longhorn Velez
  16. Even though ive never used these item, stallord is my favorite boss and the spinner is awesome.i mean its not every day you get ride on a big top and detroy all who stand in your way.User:Royman6
  17. The spinner is so much fun. I love the spinner's playground room in Arbiter's Grounds. User3000
  18. Everyone who might vote for the dominion rod-THERE IS ONLY ONE FIGHTING STATUE!!!(not counting the four unmoving ones in armagohma's room) The spinner is better because one room in the Grounds + spinner = ROLLER COASTER!!! =] Cybrwulf
  19. id have to say that after both temples, the spinner keeps its usefullness more. User:Lazgamer360
  20. The Dominion Rod is cool, but the Spinner is far more useful. You use it a lot more than the Dominion Rod, it can do direct damage to enemies (the dominion rod uses statues, but what are you going to do with just the rod? Whack your enemies upside the head?), and let's face it, what's more fun than riding on a giant top at high speed? Sir Real
  21. I just love the spinner, its so fun to use!Nayru goddess
  22. the spinner is hardly useful after the arbiter's grounds, but it's much better than the dominion rod...user:sage of thunder
  23. seemed more useful User:Young link
  24. I loved Aragohma because of the hilarious part near the end but the Spinner turned my least favourite dungeon into a freaking carnival! User:DarxStar128
  25. I love the spinner as in any dungeon it can make you move faster, if you are good at handling it. Also I hate the dominion rod, because it loses all of its value after that dungeon and it wasn't event fun. User:Gdmproductions13
  26. Let's just face it: The Spinner is so much more fun! User:mr. biggles
  27. The main reason why I'm siding with the Spinner in this battle is because you can use the Spinner outside of Arbiter's Grounds. Heck, you find a piece of heart using it along your adventures through Hyrule. I would have chosen the Dominion Rod if I could have used it out of the Temple of Time. User:Shekiah's Philosopher

  1. Use the spinner!!!
  2. The Spinner has more of a use outside of its temple while the dominion rod has no use after you fix the owl statues.--71.30.201.237 11:30, 12 August 2009 (UTC)
  3. Neither of these items are really useful once you've finished their temple, but the spinner is definitely the funnest.
  4. I don't really like either of these items but I prefer the Spinner. It's more useful anyways.
  5. its more fun and it has more use

  11. The Spinners a lot of fun and the dominian missions are annoying.
  12. I liked the dominion rod in the temple but after the temple it was useless. I loved battling the stallord it was lots of fun.
  13. The Spinner Was More Original Than The Rod. Too Bad The Spinner Had A Very Limited Momemtum...
  14. the spinner was awsome in attatching to the wall in that passage inbetween the 2 hyrule field areas to get a heart peace was genious
  15. I realize I don't actually have Twilight Princess, but I like the Spinner.
  16. Stallord was a much better boss than Armogohma and the spinner is much more fun and it had more use, its better in every way!
  17. This thing rocked! I used to glitch it up and get on top of a hill in hyrule nice view from up there-The nacvi show whos computer is acting odd and isnt letting him sign in.

were is the color for the spinner? --C2 Click it I DARE YOU! 13:15, 12 August 2009 (UTC)

I hate how this has become a Stallord vs. Armogohma fight. Xykeb Yvolix Zraliv 17:48, 14 August 2009 (UTC)

So do I- but in all fairness, Stallord was MUCH better than Armogohma. Did you see what Armogohma looked like in the beta trailers for Twilight Princess? That looked awesome! But for Armogohma it was a letdown of a boss after a temple that seemed to be leading to something incredible. Instead, it sits up on the ceiling and sometimes fires its stupid little laser, with weak little bugs sometimes swarming. It's basically like a Beamos with little bugs on the side. Portal-Kombat

That's still beside the point. It's unfair to say that an item is better than another one just because the boss that item is used against was better than the boss the other item was used against. Xykeb Yvolix Zraliv 04:32, 15 August 2009 (UTC)
I'm a Spinner fan for sure, but in my previous statement I wasn't trying to state item superiority- merely boss battle superiority. I would say that an item's use against the boss it was designed for factors in to the overall reception of the item, though. A few other factors are its usefulness in the dungeon it was located in (if any) its usefulness after that dungeon was completed, and how fun/intuitive/original the item was. Portal-Kombat
I've seen the trailer upwards of 100 times (not exaggerating) and the spider is not Armoghoma. That clip is in the Forest Temple of the large spiders that descend from the ceiling on web strings. It's not Armoghoma. Turtleman579 05:54, 17 August 2009 (UTC)
It was a beta version of Gohma, not necessarily Armogohma, but a variation of the recurring spider/crab enemy nonetheless. It looks nothing like the spiders you mention (which are called Skulltulas, by the way) and is much larger. Xykeb Yvolix Zraliv 06:45, 17 August 2009 (UTC)
Are you sure? It looks just like them to me. I'll compare the pictures and see. Turtleman579 19:15, 18 August 2009 (UTC)
I just looked at the trailer. The spider I'm referring to is at 1:52, and it's definitely the Skulltula (thanks for the name XYZ). If you don't believe me, look at the picture on the Skulltula page. (Btw if I'm not allowed to post twice in a row please tell me, as I'm not 100% sure of the rules.) Turtleman579 19:21, 18 August 2009 (UTC)
We're not talking about the spider that jumps on Link (that is indeed a Skulltula), we're talking about the giant one that chases him through a cave. See Beta Gohma. Xykeb Yvolix Zraliv 23:23, 20 August 2009 (UTC)
Oops. Sorry XYZ, I think I was watching a totally different trailer. I got mine from a Nintendo Power DVD, and I didn't know there was another one. Sorry! Turtleman579 06:43, 21 August 2009 (UTC)

And UberPhoeb did it when neither of them could, and I think Lisa URAQT did it once when none of them could. Nobody that knows how to do it seems to be here right now. Xykeb Yvolix Zraliv 20:40, 20 August 2009 (UTC)

Well, I DO know how to operate what we do here, but I don't know which fight is going in.--Shade Link (talk) 22:30, 20 August 2009 (UTC)

What do you mean? Just check the Suggestions page. It's Old Man Ho Ho vs. Shikashi. Xykeb Yvolix Zraliv 23:03, 20 August 2009 (UTC)
Not now you fools! If we change the fight now, then the next one won't get enough time for everyone to vote. Wait till Monday. MaloMart
MaloMart's right, wait until Monday.Midna Rocks
I am not so sure about that.--Shade Link
What do you mean?--MaloMart (talk) 22:59, 22 August 2009 (UTC)
It is gonna take too long. It should be over by now. Don't you think it is too much of a one-sided fight? There are more reasons, but, it should end right now. If it is ok with the admins, I can do the next round since I know how to work the ToC.--Shade Link
I agree this has been here way too long (I don't know what happened to Watcher), but if we change it now than Old Man Ho Ho vs. Shikashi will only run for a few days. If we wait until Monday we can give that fight its fair amount of time in the spotlight.--MaloMart (talk) 23:16, 22 August 2009 (UTC)
It's close enough. Just let Old Man Ho Ho vs. Shikashi last a week and an extra day or two or something...or we could just make Saturday (or Sunday...I don't know what time zones other people are in) the new update day. Go ahead and do it now. Xykeb Yvolix Zraliv 23:20, 22 August 2009 (UTC)
Good point, but I don't know how the ToC works. I could try, I suppose.--MaloMart (talk) 06:46, 23 August 2009 (UTC)

I know whats happened to watcher. He was simply playing an innocent game of oot and was slashing cuckoos. They then popped out of the tv and owned him like anything. He's currently in the hospital and will only be out in 6 months because his cuckoo scars need to recover-the navi show

Week 59: Bob-omb vs. Goomba[]

Bob-omb
Winner!
"Bob-omb!"
Bob-omb
27.5>12.5
Goomba

LLLLLLLLLLLLLLLADIES AND GENTLEMEN! We are now proud to present to you the 59th week in the TEMPLE OF COURAGE! All right! And what a treat this week will be, as we have a bout for the Foreign Championship!

In the blue corner, we have a small walking bomb. From the Mushroom Kingdom, this little guy migrated to Hyrule, sacrifices himself to destroy his enemies, and loves sword strikes; give it up for BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOB-OMB!

And in the orange corner, we have a little mushroom man. Also from the Mushroom Kingdom, he is considered the weakest foe ever, but has a vengeance in Hyrule, works extra hard to win, and hates pudgy plumbers; it's the GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMBA!

So, two forign fighters from a far away land are here to battle it out for your entertainment. But who will win? That, my dear voters, is up to you! I know you're all excited, so LLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLET'S GET READY TO RUMBLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLE! Yeah!

Votes for Bob-omb[]

  1. Goombas will die to the touch of a bomb-omb.
  2. This bob-omb has little to offer. But Paper Mario: The thousand Year Door has a awsome character named boberry. And he's a bomb. So Bob-omb wins. Metroidhunter32 23:26, 3 August 2009 (UTC)
  3. Explosions vs. uhh, walking into you? Are you serious? User:Redeadhunter
  4. I like Goombas too, but Bob-ombs are tougher and the partners you get in the RPG Mario games are great. This was definenatly a tough choce for myself.(Darknut15 (talk) 00:07, 4 August 2009 (UTC))
  5. bomb- ombs are very bittersweat. they can be an enamy or friend if used right, but goombas are just walking mushrooms.Green hat (talk) 00:17, 4 August 2009 (UTC)Mr.Green hat

  9. Bob-Ombs explode-BOOOOOOOMM!they win. User:LoafDaConvict
  10. A bomb with a face on legs that still tries to kill you even when you attack it vs. a mushroom with a face on legs that can be crushed just by stepping on it.--Shade Link (talk) 13:11, 4 August 2009 (UTC)
  11. Bob-ombs were my favourite Mario enemy as a kid. Goombas served as an annoyance. Oddball 464 17:09, 4 August 2009 (UTC)
  12. Walking explosives vs evil mushroom? I doubt the bob-omb will be leaving alive, but the goomba will be blown to pieces if it doesn't. Dialask77 Ice Wizard Ice Sorceror 17:33, 4 August 2009 (UTC)

  21. Bob-ombs would annihalate. Period.
  22. It's pretty easy to conclude that goombas wouldn't stand an inch of a chance.Bob-ombs exploded, goombas can touch.Nothing more to say.[User talk:Link's Other Dark]
  23. Bob-ombs can do damage on contact like Goombas, and they explode when hit, making them more deadly. Also, Goombas produce hearts when you step on them, making them the ultimate non-killer enemy. My vote goes to the Bob-omb. Sir Real

  1. Go Walking Bomb flower
  2. They sacrifice their lives for you. (Well, to kill you, but whatever.)
  3. I don't like mushrooms, so I prefer the walking bombs. Also the bombs are the only ones I met..
  4. Bob-Bombs are walking kamikaze bombs, but what are goombas? Walking mushrooms that can only hurt you if you touch them. So lets see: walking BOMB, walking mushroom that belongs on a pizza and not a Mario game
  5. Bomb-ombs rule and Goombas drool. If you say otherwise, you're a loser and a wash-up.
  6. Walking explosives are just plain cool! - Ponkool4
  7. Dey go KABOOOOM!!!!!!!!!!!
  8. Goomba are weakling
  9. walking bombs or walking mushrooms its obvious

Votes for Goomba[]

  1. Bob-ombs are annoying, the way they run around wildly after getting hit. Also, Goombas were always there for me when I needed the hearts they give you when you kill them. Xykeb Yvolix Zraliv 01:07, 4 August 2009 (UTC)

  10. Doesn't look like these guys are gonna win, but I'm voting for them anyway. I voted for John McCain too, and that didn't turn out too well. But, anyway, this is the first enemy you encounter in Super Mario Bros. These guys definitely deserve more recognition! --Brittonshayne (talk) 01:50, 11 August 2009 (UTC)

Hey, everyone. Sorry about my long absenses, but I've had alot to do, so I haven't been able to do as much. So, even though school starts tomorrow, I'm back for a while now. Unless someone beats me to it, I'm back to being the main ToC guy! See ya! Sincerely, Watcher.

Can the background for Bob-ombs be changed? It's impossible to see the user links unless they have a custom signature. Xykeb Yvolix Zraliv 01:07, 4 August 2009 (UTC)

Week 58: Garo vs. Gerudo[]

Garo Robe
Winner!
"Garo"
19=18.5
Garo Robe
Gerudo Artwork (Ocarina of Time)

LLLLLLLLLLLLLLADIES AND GENTLEMEN!, welcome to the 58th week of the TEMPLE OF COURAGE!!! On this great week we have a fight between two mysterious races. Both are masters of the sword, both are seen living in canyons, and both are READY TO FIGHT TO THE DEATH!!!

In the reddish-brown corner, we have a race of ninja-like beings that died in Ikana Canyon. Their ghosts return to any that would wear the mask of their master. If these cunning creatures can be defeated, then they reward you with a hint. and their famous line is... "To Die without leaving a corpse... That is the way of us GARO!!!"

In the turquoise corner, we have a strange race of desert living women. They guard their strongholds ferociously and will throw out any that attempt to sneak in. With only one male born every one-hundred years, say hello to the Gerudo!!!

Who will win? The lethal assassins of the Garo, or the fiece guardians of the Gerudo?! That is your decision! Our combatants are ready to battle it out with everything they have, so LET'S GET READY TO RUMMMMMMMMMMMBLE!

Votes for Garo[]

  1. I've never bought into the general ninja hype, but the Garo in particular I ended up loving. Best race in the series, in my opinion. Xykeb Yvolix Zraliv 18:07, 28 July 2009 (UTC)
  2. Garos are more fun to fight than Gerudo guards/pirates. They have a better backstory than Gerudo and when they are willing to fight to the death, Gerudo just run away when they're almost down. Oddball 464 18:11, 28 July 2009 (UTC)
  3. I always was a fan of double blade wielding, crazed ghost-ninjas than some race of spear/Double blade wielding, thieves that give up after you hit them enough. The Garo don't give up when defeated, they will either continue on, or commit suicide trying to take Link with them. This comes from a guy who is good at stealth in real life, wears dark colors, and practices using two short blades during sword fights.--Shade Link (talk) 18:48, 28 July 2009 (UTC)
  4. "To die without leaving a corpse, for that is the way of the Garo." That line sums up how incredible the Garo are. MidnaRocks
  5. OK Garos are ninjas and they were dark clothes and actually blend in with there surroundings while the gerudo are being talked about everywhere and plus the garos are very stealthy and just look cool. Darkdarklink
  6. They're part of the Stone Tower story, the deepest and darkest in Zelda history. The Gerudo have Ganondorf. He was excellent in Wind Waker and good in Ocarina of Time, but otherwise the Garo are superior. Portal-Kombat
  7. The Gerudo have Ganondorf, but that's all they have going for them. The Garo live in Ikana and are inherently mysterious. And they're ninja. Ninjas pwn. Jedi Master Link
  8. I dont know why I just like this race better. DragonPhoenix13 (talk) 23:34, 28 July 2009 (UTC)
  9. I'm going with Garo. They are mysterious, and have two blades. How cool! The Midna 22:14 28 July 2009(talk)
  10. Call me racist, but these guys just seem alot cooler! Plus, they die without leaving a corpse. For that is the way of the Garo. Sincerely, Watcher.
  11. These guys are just cool. They also have quite a bit of mystery to them.(Darknut15 (talk) 22:55, 29 July 2009 (UTC))

  14. The Garo are more fun to fight because they take more than one hit!User:LoafDaConvict
  15. Like Pamela's Father said, the Garo Link faced were just empty shells, meaning the real thing is likely far more powerful and durable and the Gerudo(except for Ganondorf and Nabooru, of course), like Loaf pretty much said are not nearly as strong as they look and, to be frank, they don't really look very strong to begin with.User:Redeadhunter
  16. I'm a pretty big fan of both of them, but I have to go with the Garo, just because they have a tag line. User3000
  17. Garo are cool cuz their living robes. I like killing living robes zeldafreak39

  2. Swords and Ninja Awesomeness...Gaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaro!Gaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaro!

Votes for Gerudo[]

  1. I Personally like the Gerudo better because they are a bigger challenge in having to sneak around them then defeat one of them in hand to hand combat. While the Garo are still fun to beat they get annoying when your trying to walk around the Ikana Canyon. --Ironknuckle1 (talk) 17:59, 28 July 2009 (UTC)
  2. I have to vote for the Gerudo, but not for their Ocarina of Time appearance. They were much more fun in the Pirate's Fortress in Majora's Mask. I won't forget how fun it is to run around the Pirate's Fortress with the Stone Mask on laughing at them. Baltro [ talk · edits ] 19:31, 28 July 2009 (UTC)

  15. The Gerudo are much more of a challange in the actual games. And the greatest and most famous villian from the zelda series is a Gerudo! And at the risk of sounding like a pervert they are all hot women with awesome fighting skills! (except Ganondorf) User:HeroofAwesome

  7. Gerudos are waaaayyyyyy more of a challenge.

No comment. Xykeb Yvolix Zraliv 17:52, 29 July 2009 (UTC)

Wow dude now I'm insulted. u could of at least said something agreeing or disagreeing and malomart I read the comment but if we let XYZ act all high aand mighty coz hes an admin and then use his position to bash randolm people over nothing this fight would have no purpose. Speaking of admins it still says keese vs miniblins on the front page for me.-The Navi Show

Alright, let's play along and say I act "high aand mighty coz i'm an admin". I've been like that since before I became an admin. You can take from that what you will. And if you have nothing against me, and all you're saying is that I should chill, why do you then proceed to say that I use my postition to bash random people? Seems to me like a morally correct person would have something against somebody like that. Xykeb Yvolix Zraliv 05:45, 30 July 2009 (UTC)
You have a point there. I made a mistake about the admin thing. But I will admit I have something against people who do things you dislike in TOC(be it someone making a stupid comment or asking in the peanut gallery for help in an article. When you see it you tend to reply to it in a way that many consider offensive -The navi show

It would sure as heck help everyone if we just stop arguing!(realizing you have something against those who ask for help in articles, to let you know, I was new by then, so I didn't understand much about ToC.)--Shade Link (talk) 14:33, 30 July 2009 (UTC)

You're welcome for fixing those typos, Navi. In response to Shade Link, I also used to be stumped by ToC, for weeks, ithought there was a special Voting function. User:Redeadhunter

Ummm, I'm not that knowledgeable about stuff like this, but I'm fairly certain you can't just change your IP address. If you could, there'd be absolutely no point to blocking somebody's IP. I could unblock you, maybe...is there any way you can prove it wasn't really you, or is it just a matter of trust at this point? Xykeb Yvolix Zraliv 06:58, 31 July 2009 (UTC)

He probably has proof, but if it is matter of trust, we can trust him. If he tries it out, THEN you can block him.--Shade Link (talk) 13:10, 31 July 2009 (UTC)

Well I sadly haven't memorized the IP adress and there is a way of changing it. However, its hard as hell. If you cant look back at the lord bulbo link the pig fight at the IP blocked there thats me. If that isnt possible give me your email and ill tell you my ip wen i get back home. Thanks for your help!---The navi show (talk) 19:43, 31 July 2009 (UTC)

If you mean you don't know your IP, there is a place called whatsmyIp.com or something. Wait for it to load and it will show up. If you mean you DO know, but want to send it via email, why not tell us right now? or at least put it on an admin's talk page? one sec, i think i can find it in the (this clue has been blurred to prevent too much viewing how)--Shade Link (talk) 14:28, 31 July 2009 (UTC)

I'm kinda curious... Why hasn't there ever been a Navi vs. Tatl fight? Or has there been one, and I just missed it while looking through the archives? (I'm not suggesting it, and I don't have enough edits to suggest one anyway.. just wondering) User3000

Because it's never been supported when people have suggested it. It's considered too cliched and obvious, and not that interesting in the first place. Xykeb Yvolix Zraliv 21:26, 31 July 2009 (UTC)

Sorry CC, but those that SUPPORT it are worried. The opposers are doing what can be effectively called a philibuster. When the majority's ideas are delayed (typically via conversation, or taking the floor in the Senate's case) so that the votes can be shifted in the favor of the original loser during the delay. Now, you know a little more about politics, and we are all enlightened. But you CAN'T argue that, if every new vote is legitamate, then that means the people overall are changing their minds about the idea. Or that newer/returning users think that it is a bad idea. that is what i was thinking. see the problem is i dont know if it was supposed to be closed or not, thats why im worried. but im assuming now that it was never intented to be closed. honetsly, im abou to re-nig my vote and just go nutral on it. and yes i am very well in the loop about politics and i don't like things to just sit there. what worries me is that i dont know if it was intended to remain open and that all new votes count. actually, now that i think about it, it is a failure to act and doesnt desreve my vote. so, now seeing that nothing was ever going to happen, it's a bad idea. --C2 Click it I DARE YOU! 18:59, 3 August 2009 (UTC)

Week 57: Keese vs. Miniblin[]

Keese (Ocarina of Time)
Winner!
"Keese!"
Miniblins

LLLLLLLLLLLLLLADIES AND GENTLEMEN! We are proud to present the 57th week of the TEMPLE OF COURAGE! All right! And this week, due to the small but deadly nature of the combatants, so we would strongly advise to keep all small personal belongings, children, and midgets away from the arena.

In the red corner, we have a bat-like creature. These glowing-eyed nuiscances fly around, sometimes setting themselves on fire, ambushing unsuspecting travelers, these are none other than the KEEEEEEEEEEESE!

And waiting in the purple corner, we have the devilish imps who stab their victims with pitchforks while making weird noises, give it up for the MINIBLIIIIIIIIIIIINS!

In a clash of Hyrule's small and mighty, we have two evil creatures filled with malice. Who shall stand, and who shall fall? That, my dear voters, is up to you! Our combatants are itching to battle it out, so LET'S GET READY TO RUMMMMMMMMMMMBLE! Yeah!

Votes for Keese[]

  1. Miniblins are cool and everything, but I have to go with the Keese. They just happen to always hit you when you simply can't get hit, whereas the Miniblins are obviously there just to get in the way. Xykeb Yvolix Zraliv 19:24, 20 July 2009 (UTC)
  2. These are both extremely annoying little buggers; however, the Miniblins' constant chittering noise (while informing you of their existence) is something to drive one insane. The Keese give off more of a malicious air and are generally more pleasing enemies (don't ask me why, I'm not sure myself). Light and Shadow (talk) 19:46, 20 July 2009 (UTC)
  3. Keese are some of the most classic enemies in the series, while Miniblins are highly annoying little foes. The Keese get my vote. Signed, The Recondite Sage.
  4. Voting for the Keese just so I can keep what few shreds of sanity are left after playing Wind Waker for hours and constantly hearing that nightmarish chattering. OMFG I'M STARTING TO HEAR IT IN MY HEAD!!! GET IT OUT GET IT OUT!!! Diachronos (talk) 21:39, 20 July 2009 (UTC)
  5. That chirping sound the Miniblins dives me absolutely insane, and they're not dangerous at all. Ever. Keese are annoying, too, since they are so weak, but at least they occasionally can pose a threat, like when they are Ice Keese, or you are on a ledge or a cliff. Jedi Master Link
  6. I like Keese better. Plus, those little things made me want to take my ears off.(Darknut15 (talk) 03:03, 21 July 2009 (UTC))
  7. I still remember when I was in the lakebed temple in tp and was hanging from the clawshot over a big pit and a keese knocked me off and killed me. Grrr... DragonPhoenix13 (talk) 13:29, 21 July 2009 (UTC)
  8. Keese can survive a fire arrow and actually become stronger because of it. Miniblins can get squashed by a giant hammer. Where's your noises now? {{User:NintendoKitsune))
  9. Miniblins keep appearing EVERYWHERE! Besides, they can't set themselves on fire, set YOU on fire, encase you in ice, or fly... besides, keese are way cooler because of they're amazing silence. Well, unless you count wings flapping... GAR! Ah well... keese win anyway. User:Marou239
  10. They are really awesome for thier ability to cover themselves in ice or fire. Green hat (talk) 19:03, 21 July 2009 (UTC)Mr.Green hat
  11. If you're walking along a narrow path in the Oracle games and a Keese just happens to hit you, you're dead meat. Oddball 464 23:31, 21 July 2009 (UTC)
  12. Bah, the miniblin is a land-locked descendent of keese. Miniblin can be avoided by certain stratagies. Keese, on the other hand, need to be slain before you do anything else, or they will bug you as long as you are in the room. Dialask77 Ice Wizard Ice Sorceror 00:23, 22 July 2009 (UTC)
  13. These guys are hard to hit and seem to have no trouble hitting you. Take it from a guy who hunts in graveyards on slow days. User:Redeadhunter 18:00 21 July 2009
  14. My vote goes to the Keese. Ice Keese get me so many times, it gets annoying (but is still funny)The Midna 22:40 21 July 2009(talk)
  15. An original can never go stale. Plus, they get updated every so often to include even more annoyingness, what with their fire and ice carrying abilities. I never did like purchasing another Deku Shield when something so low level decided to engulf it in flames. Katamariqueen (talk) 18:32, 23 July 2009 (UTC)
  16. Come on, can any body honestly vote for those annoying, never ending crazy rodents whith pitch forks, or the awesome keese that have been in like every game? Seriously, guys vote for the classic.-User:Bulbin Slayer
  17. I never played Wind Waker, so I really don't know how annoying a miniblin is. I HAVE played a lot of others, and I definately know how annoying a fire keese to the deku sheild in dodongos cavern is so.... Cybrwulf
  18. Miniblins may be tougher, but the keese are just classic Zelda. I mean, whats a Zelda dungeon without a bunch of keese annoying the mess out of you?! User:HeroofAwesome
  19. Set the Keese on fire with Din's Fire and they go away, right? WRONG! They evolve into the awesome Fire Keese, whereas as the Miniblins just... die. My brother learned that the hard way. User:Nayru's Maiden
  20. The Keese are an extremely hard opponent to defeat when in the air. They have two different battle strategies that set them apart from the Miniblins whom only have one. The Keese can have multiple elements associated to them (i.e. Fire, Ice) that make them a bigger threat. Hands down the Keese. User:psjensen2886
  21. keese are to me not as annoying User:Young link
  22. Kesses come in diferent elemental types(Fire, Ice)so they better and badder than the miniblinUser:Longhorn Velez

  1. Keese are so much more stealthier. Besides they can use your own fire arrows against you. Ahhh! My Deku Shield!!!!
  2. Keese have been in more games. They're a Zelda staple. If they don't win I will be very surprised.
  3. Keese are awesome. They even look hardcore. Besides, what the heck are Miniblins anyway?
  4. Keese. Those little bats are SOO annoying. Especially the ice ones. Those ones drove me NUTS. Oh noes, I'm on fire!! and my Deku shield burnt up! lol.
  5. My votes with Keese because even though they're annoying they're classic monsters. They have appeared in almost every game!
  6. My vote goes to Keese they are easy to beat but there better then miniblins.
  7. Definitely Keese. They look a lot cooler and are less annoying. I mean, the irritating sounds those Miniblins make Annoy the heck out of me! Also, I like cool bats A LOT more than demon monkey things.
  8. I just have to go with the classics. Ever noticed that Miniblins Look like Devil Sheep? Without Fleece? Oh the horror (Sarcasm)
  9. They'd just fly around and keep beating up those annoying pests until they die a gruesome death. Hooray!
  10. The Miniblins come at the worst of times and make me feel like ripping my controller up with my bare hands. The Keese, however, can be handled easily and don't keep on coming in swarms that never end. And if you think about it, it's funny how they're lit on fire (and yet don't scream in agony?).
  11. Keese are a lot cooler and have been in more Zelda games. And those noises the miniblins make drive me insane!

Votes for Miniblin[]

  1. I like Moblins more than Keese, and Miniblins are close to Moblins. --EveryDayJoe45 (talk) 19:30, 20 July 2009 (UTC)
  2. The noises they make combined with their tridents is amazing(ly annoying). Baltro [ talk · edits ] 19:49, 20 July 2009 (UTC)
  3. Miniblins make me laugh, especially when I hit them with the Skull Hammer. Keese, however, just annoy me when I'm trying to climb onto a platform. Plus, Ice Keese MUST DIE!19:57, 20 July 2009 (UTC)MaloMart (talk)
  4. Keese. They're enemies. Kill them. Miblins are not only enemies but can set you back to the begining of the fortress. Miniblins actually manage to be both annoying and deadly. Keese can't really pull off either. Metroidhunter32 20:33, 20 July 2009 (UTC)
  5. When they are hit by the boomerang, they make funny noises zeldafreak39
  6. They're more fun to kill :) --Nunovanhalen (talk) 21:32, 20 July 2009 (UTC)
  7. They've earned a special place in my gaming nightmares. Portal-Kombat
  8. In a contest of annoyingness and frustration, the Miniblins win hands down. You can kill Keese and they stay dead until you reenter the room, but these things just keep coming. Plus, they're sort of funny too. LapisScarab (talk) 14:23, 21 July 2009 (UTC)
  9. This one's tough, but I gotta go with the Miniblins. They're both incredibly irritating, but the Miniblins just keep coming, which is bad news if you can't get to a safe place. User3000
  10. Keese, one hit, they're gone, and they can never respawn. These guys, on the other hand, just keep coming and coming and coming and coming, and they are so anoying! They win in my eyes. Sincerely, Watcher.
  11. Has anyone ever tried tossing all-purpose-bait at the miniblins? they completely ignore you and go for the food! Ha ha ha! Midna Rocks
  12. it should be noted that i was deeply conflicted by this vote. miniblins are bit more interesting as far as charchters go, (they are starved and apear to comunicate) but kesee can have a much more devastating impact on your charachter. (knocking you off ledges, destroying your woden sheild, distracting your target icon, and freezing you.) the only reason miniblins won my vote is because technichaly the miniblins are fighting regular kesee not the fire and ice varietys.(Foutlet (talk) 18:08, 22 July 2009 (UTC))
  13. So many deaths... WHY?!?!--Luroberto (talk) 21:02, 22 July 2009 (UTC)
  14. "DALINK! DA LINK! TEH LINK!" if they are calling me "teh Link", I will gladly become their God. They can climb up walls, swarm and stab you with their pitch forks, and absolutely drive you (thanks for putting this in your journal, Lisa.) CRAZY!!!!(but not as much as this laptop does) Crazy? Crazy?! I was crazy once! they put me in a rubber room with rubber rats! those rubber rats drove me CRAZY!*repeats until fainting* rats= Miniblins. --Shade Link (talk) 23:23, 22 July 2009 (UTC)
  15. These might possibly be the most evil things in the Zelda Universe for me. They drove me crazy at the Forsaken Fortress! They would never go away. Thus saying that, I love them! Mrs.MikauShadLink (talk) 17:28, 23 July 2009 (UTC)
  16. Crazy? Crazy? I was crazy once! They put me in a rubber room with rubber Miniblins! *screams and passes out, then wakes back up* Sorry, I couldn't resist. Seriously now, these guys are cooler. They have pitchforks. And they make funny noises. XD --Lisa URAQT Click it. You know you want to 17:40, 23 July 2009 (UTC)
  17. Keese are just target practice. These guys are pure annoyance. Did BH win some kind of contest to have his likeness appear in the game or something? You might ask why in the age eeh double ell I'm waiting for Miniblins then. Well, I don't have to follow your stupid logical rules. --AuronKaizer! 08:27, 24 July 2009 (UTC)
  18. Miniblins, I love to hate them. Kopaka251 (talk) 03:50, 25 July 2009 (UTC)
  19. Personally, I think it's more fun to kill Miniblins. Sure, they come out of nowhere and scare the shit out of you, but that's what makes them so much more enjoyable. Keese on the other hand just fly at you, poke you, and there's the damage. The Miniblins actually have a weapon to damage you with, plus, who doesn't love running away from those hell spawns? Lordgeorge16 (talk) 10:51, 28 July 2009 (UTC)

  1. Miniblins are cooler and more deadly than keese! - Ponkool4
  2. Miniblins are dedlier and are easier to target than keese flying everywhere! - Link&Zelda
  3. MINIBLINS RULE! MWUHAHAHAHAHA!
  4. There sounds, it's everywhere!! So scary and so irritating!
  5. These guys are what made the Forsaken Fortress a Forsaken Nightmare, remember the room full of them? These nasty little buggers can climb walls and ceilings. Plus they are funny. Plus keese are only really cool when made out of ice (lol) or when they are in Twilight Princess...
  6. Da na. Da na. Da na. I like that sound for some reason.
  7. So fun to kill and strange sounds.

I was told by Mr.Fairy that neither he nor Watcher could do the ToC this week, but that Mr.Fairy contacted Watcher, who said he trusted me with the job. So... here it is! I hope you all like it! --Lisa URAQT Click it. You know you want to

Are Miniblins mini versions of Moblins or Bokoblins? - Ponkool4(not a user)

I always assumed that they were related to the Moblins and actually this fight looks pretty level. Might end up with another tie. Metroidhunter32 13:31, 21 July 2009 (UTC)
I always thought they were mini Bokoblins. I actually never considered the possibility that they could be Moblins (d'oh). Hmm... User3000
I also thought they were like Moblins. Then again, they don't exactly look as piggish as the Moblins. I never thought of them being mini Bokoblins, but then again it could be possible. Maybe they're not like either or are like both a little bit. They all share that -blin ending, after all. Light and Shadow (talk) 01:02, 22 July 2009 (UTC)
Maybe they're offspring of Moblins and Bokoblins. o.0 User3000
More like an offshoot of the ReDead designed to drive you insane by being annoying instead of being terrifying. Diachronos (talk) 16:33, 22 July 2009 (UTC)
I just called them mini-devils in my head before finding out the real name for them, then deciding that they were probably related to Bokoblins and Moblins, judging by the name. --Lisa URAQT Click it. You know you want to 17:40, 23 July 2009 (UTC)

Hm. It's interesting to see how each time, one side will pull ahead only to have the other side catch up for yet another perfect tie standing. I wonder how this'll end. Xykeb Yvolix Zraliv 20:01, 24 July 2009 (UTC)

Something tells me that someone's rigged this temple of courage.pce-the navi show

Ha! Somebody's rigged this? If you'll notice, every single vote except for the 10 anonymous ones has been signed. That means that each of the 34 individual users voted on their own and those 34 votes happened to end up with 17 on each side. According to what I've seen of the page history, each anonymous vote was done one-at-a-time and by a different IP. Therefore those also just happened to end up in a tie. Learn a little about the Temple of Courage before saying it's rigged. Xykeb Yvolix Zraliv 23:16, 24 July 2009 (UTC)

I find it offensive when somebody says that something's rigged when it's not, because that means they indirectly think that the admins are being lazy and not picking up on it. And guess what? Keese are winning by 2 1/2 votes now. It's not rigged. Additionally, "nut sack" is not a term generally accepted around here. Just to let you know. Xykeb Yvolix Zraliv 18:16, 26 July 2009 (UTC)

Yup, it is not a real user, I just typed it up User:Bulbin slayer. the vote is not a real vote. I kinda DO think the votes are being rigged, cause somebody probably put it up there.--Shade Link (talk) 19:14, 26 July 2009 (UTC)

nvm about the rigging, but the Bulbin slayer name is fake, and they put it in the Keese, non anonymous section.--Shade Link (talk) 19:16, 26 July 2009 (UTC)

I could post a huge response to what you two have said, but at this point I think it'd be a waste of time. If you don't like me, that's your problem. I'm not configuring my beliefs for a couple of people that don't like the way I do things around here. Xykeb Yvolix Zraliv 17:59, 27 July 2009 (UTC)

I never said I never liked you, I was showing what Navi show meant, which was that his point was that you kinda get angry or offended too easily.--Shade Link (talk) 22:48, 27 July 2009 (UTC)

Even if you didn't say you don't like me, by saying that you think I get angry or offended too easily, you're saying you don't like the way I deal with things, hence you don't like at least that portion of my personality. This doesn't mean you don't like me overall, I guess, but still, same terms apply. I'm not changing my view on life just to make you happy. Xykeb Yvolix Zraliv 22:52, 27 July 2009 (UTC)

What the heck? Did I say, mean, or even THINK about you changing that portion of your personality just to make ME happy? no, I didn't. I was merely pointing out what Navi show doesn't like how you act at times.Ok? *walks off mumbling, "sheesh"--Shade Link (talk) 23:10, 27 July 2009 (UTC)

And yet you attempt to reinforce what the navi show was saying by unnecessarily putting a link to a particular conversation where you think I was overreacting? Seemed an awful lot to me like you agreed. Xykeb Yvolix Zraliv 01:01, 28 July 2009 (UTC)
