Week 70: Jalhalla vs. Pumpkin Head[]

Jalhalla (The Wind Waker)
Winner!
Jalhalla
Jalhalla (The Wind Waker)
19.5>9.5
Pumpkin Head

MUHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! Ladies and Gentlemen, in celebration of HALLOWEEN, we have a special presentation for you this week in the TEMPLE. OF. COURAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGE! As a break from our usual way of doing this, the suggestions for this week's Temple of Courage battle were all Halloween-related in some way. Now, feast your eyes upon our ghoulishly decorated center ring and get ready for battle!

In the left corner, we have a corpulent visage who is the Master of All Poes! He is seemingly impervious to attacks, however, his greatest weakness is sunlight! He's mean, he's nasty and he loves his Jelly donuts...THIS. IS. JALHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAALLA!

And in the opposite corner is a spooky spectre whose very name makes adventurers shake in their boots...if any of them were still alive! Protector of the Spirit's Grave and the Eternal Spirit, one of the Essences of Time...THIS. IS. PUUUUUUUUUUUUUUMPKIN HEEEEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAD!

And now, it is time once again! In the spirit of Halloween I say to you...LET'S GET REAAAAAAAAAAAAAAADY TO RUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUMBLE!

Votes for Jalhalla[]

  1. What's not to like about Jalhalla? Diachronos (talk) 21:30, October 24, 2009 (UTC)
  2. Ignoring the fact that Jalhalla is the only one I've seen, he is royally cool, and comands an army of Poes! That is pure awesome! Sincerely, Watcher.
  3. Iloved facing this boss in Four swords Adventure even though I think hes too easy in Windwaker. I haven't beaten either Oracle so I havent faced pumpkinhead yet. So my vote goes to jalhalla.--Ironknuckle1 22:45, October 24, 2009 (UTC)
  4. Pumpkin Head was kinda fun, but not that interesting in the end. Jalhalla was a tad easy, but I still enjoyed that fight a whole lot. Xykeb Yvolix Zraliv 01:10, October 25, 2009 (UTC)
  5. Jalhalla's cutscenes were pretty funny, his boss battle music was coolduring the first battle and dowright creepy during the carbon-copy battle, and somehow I doubt pumpkin boy over there could win a fight between the two. LapisScarab (talk) 01:18, October 25, 2009 (UTC)
  6. The only thing that disappointed me about this guy was that the lantern was not a weapon Link could use. Oh well, GO JALHALLA!--RH 04:47, October 25
  7. Jalhalla looks a lot more ominous with the mask off. Portal-Kombat
  8. Um, this ghost guy is way better than that THING wearing a pumpkin over there. -Twili Tetra
  9. I'm going to go ahead and vote for Jalhalla for reasons no one can force me to discuss - dodongolord
  10. Go Jalhalla! I can't believe it's been so long since I've been here. Go fat ghost guy! --DekutullaZM (talk) 20:27, October 26, 2009 (UTC) P.S:He's awesome.
  11. Sometimes I like a boss fight that I don't have to really do much for and I win it. One vote for Jalhalla here.pauj
  12. I get a sort of sadistic pleasure from using the hurricane spin to take out as many of those scurrying Poes at once. This vote goes to one one of the funniest bosses in the series. Jedimasterlink (talk) 21:47, October 27, 2009 (UTC)
  13. Jalhalla can't be beat by pumpkin head anyway because pumpkin head dosen't have power bracelets!!!(because link took them)Plus, I don't know who pumpkin head is, but I still think Jalhalla is better and would truly win if they had a fight.Xgamer92 (talk)
  14. Bongo Bongo or Stallord could have probably replaced Pumpkin Head in this battle. Jalhalla commands an army of Poes and resides at the most annoying Zelda dungeon. {{SUBST:User:Snakeboss14/sig}} 23:46, October 28, 2009 (UTC)
  15. Gotta love the big guy! --Nunovanhalen (talk) 22:38, November 1, 2009 (UTC)

  1. Whats not t love about Jahalla? hes a big, fat, loveable ghost!
  2. I like him more because he appeares in more games than Mr. Pumpkin-Head over there
  3. I like the strike sound when you throw him against the spikes!!
  4. Never heard of the other guy, and I loved Wind Waker
  5. He shoots fire, a ghost who shoots fire... if they had a showdown I know who would win.
  6. Pumpkin Head looks weired, Jahalla doesn't.Mr.Fairy
  7. Jalhalla is funny and he rocks!!!
  8. Jahalla is beast!
  9. There is no possible way a pumpkin can defeat a giant poe!

Votes for Pumpkin Head[]

  1. Hes much cooler, more unique and not some overweight poe. --EveryDayJoe45 (talk) 21:39, October 24, 2009 (UTC)
  2. What can I say? Boss battle is fun. Picking up people's heads and throwing them at them is fun. Fun fun fun. Also, Pumpkins scare me more than fat ghosts. --AuronKaizer! 22:44, October 24, 2009 (UTC)
  3. Considering that I had to go read the article on Jalhalla to even remember that boss battle and that Oracle of Ages is my second favorite Zelda game, I'm going to have to go with Pumpkin Head. Sure it's not a very unique name but it was a unique character that I recognized instantly. There was just nothing special about Jalhalla for me. --Birdman5589 (talk) 01:54, October 25, 2009 (UTC)
  4. --DarkTriforce (talk) 18:59, October 25, 2009 (UTC)
  5. Yes! I'm kind of being him for Halloween. Also I've grown to like Pumpkin Head a lot. BOO! The Midna (talk) Midna Laughing 20:02, October 25, 2009 (UTC)
  6. Jallhala was even eaysier then pumpkin head in a three heart challange Oni Dark Link 00:27, October 26, 2009 (UTC)
  7. Only because Pumpkin Head is in an awesome game. Oddball 464 03:21, October 27, 2009 (UTC)
  8. Eh...it is either the overweight and annoying oversized poe, or the slightly less annoying dude with a pumpkin head from an intersting game...it is close, but pumkinhead wins... Dialask77 Ice Wizard Ice Sorceror 16:56, October 27, 2009 (UTC)
  9. He wears a jackolantern on his head! That's awesome! User:DarxStar128

OK, advance apologies. I have hard classes. I run for my team. I have a lot of family and personal matters to take care of. So this time, instead of saying I'll be back for good, I'm just going to come on whenever I can. I'm not making any promises, but I'll try to be on as often as possisble from now on. Now that that's out of the way, VIVA HALLOWEEN! Sincerely, Watcher.

You should have just left it to someone else rather than do it ahead of time. --AuronKaizer! 22:25, October 24, 2009 (UTC)

Can we start removing votes if the reasoning someone gives is about a wrong character? --EveryDayJoe45 (talk) 01:13, October 25, 2009 (UTC)

I'd like to say yes, but I'm biased since they annoy the s*** out of me, so I don't know. Xykeb Yvolix Zraliv 01:16, October 25, 2009 (UTC)
We can't do that. Not without a rule change or anything. Which I doubt would pass... --AuronKaizer! 02:11, October 25, 2009 (UTC)
Figured somebody would say something like that. I'd vote for that rule though...... Xykeb Yvolix Zraliv 02:25, October 25, 2009 (UTC)
As would I, Xykeb, although we have called people out on such goof-ups before.--RH 04:40, October 25, 2009 (UTC)
I agree. I haven't checked, but I'm sure at least one fight has been won because of such votes. Does anybody know how to start a vote, because I've been really annoyed by this ever since it started. (My account's young, but I've been here since week 5, Link vs. Zelda) Turtleman579 23:08, October 27, 2009 (UTC)

Who. Messed. With. MY. INTRO!!!!!!!!!!!!??????? I'm putting it back, right now! Sincerely, Watcher.

WATCHER get over it.-- C2 / CC 15:19, October 27, 2009 (UTC)

Don't look at me.--MaloMart (talk) Malo 23:03, October 25, 2009 (UTC)

is there no bigger picture of pumpkin head. Pumpkin head just looks a bit small compared to jalhalla Oni Dark Link 00:34, October 26, 2009 (UTC)

Unless there's artwork of Pumpkin Head (which I doubt), we have to go with the in-game sprites, and stretched sprites are ugly, so we have to go with its size in-game. Xykeb Yvolix Zraliv 01:01, October 26, 2009 (UTC)
What if we just shrink Jalhalla's image to make up for it? The Midna (talk) Midna Laughing 21:10, October 26, 2009 (UTC)
No, I can barely stand one, two would be unbareable.-- C2 / CC 15:19, October 27, 2009 (UTC)

Guess who has returned? (and don't say Chuck Norris) Dialask77 Ice Wizard Ice Sorceror 17:00, October 27, 2009 (UTC)

You did.-- C2 / CC 17:03, October 27, 2009 (UTC)
Whoah! Chuck Norris has returned? It's the...Twenty-Second Coming! --AuronKaizer! 23:31, October 27, 2009 (UTC)

In response to Snakeboss or whatever you're called, we had a Jalhalla vs. Stallord fight a while ago.--MaloMart (talk) Malo 23:53, October 28, 2009 (UTC)

Week 69: Hide 'N' Seek Fairies vs. Skull Kid[]

Hide 'N' Seek Fairy
Winner!
Skull Kid
Skull Kid (Twilight Princess)
8.5<19.5
Skull Kid (Twilight Princess)

LAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAADIES AND GENTLEMEN! We thank you for attending this week's fight brought to you by your weekly purveyor of sports/entertainment/both! And this week, we have four individuals who enjoy misleading people and extending the play time of their respective games with their "fun" mini-games! Without further ado... (although there is some ado...namely, the lengthy introductions!)

In the bubble-gum pink corner, three mischievous fairies who reside within a forest in eastern Labrynna. With their powerful magicks, these three have the power to get any would-be adventurer lost in the forest, never to return...they are the HIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIDE AND SEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEK FAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAIRIES!

And in the nut-brown corner, an imp of the forest who serves as a test for those who wish to enter the Sacred Grove and wield the mighty Master Sword. He has an endless army of Puppets at his command and plays a mean forest trumpet thing! THIS. IS. SKULLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL KID!

And now, most devoted audience, let's get to the eye-gougey action that I know that you all, being the victims of base human desires that you are, have been waiting for! LET'S GET RRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRREADY TO RUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUMMMMMMMMMMMMMMBLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLEEEEEEEE!!!!!!

Votes for Hide 'N' Seek Fairies[]

  1. I really enjoyed playing Majoras mask it was just AWESOME,finding these faries was a tough challenge but the rewards was awesome, what reward do you get catching Skull kid (I know you get the master sword but thats a part off the game you HAVE to do that)I would have freaked out when I didnt found all the faries if if you HAD to do that(finding the faries),GEEZ user:Fierce Deity Einar
  2. I'm tempted to vote for Skull Kid just for being...well, a Skull Kid, but I'm going to go with the Hide 'N' Seek Fairies. At least their challenge is interesting and mildly entertaining, rather than the running around avoiding an endless stream of annoying enemies that the Skull Kid brought. Xykeb Yvolix Zraliv 22:13, October 18, 2009 (UTC)
  3. My vote lies here simply based on, in my opinion, one of the more annoying mini-mission in TP. The Skull-kid just ended up being a pain in the rear. pauj
  4. Their mini game is more inventive even if its a lot eaysier. Skull kid just hid some where summoning weak enemies which all leads up to a bouring minigame when searching for the masters swrods. The hide n seek fairies mini game is more interesting and better cameoish characters then the skull kid. Plus they have a great sound track Oni Dark Link 17:45, October 19, 2009 (UTC)
  5. They were just fun. 'Nuff said. Haru Mclean Namikaze will swallow your soul...| talk | Kanji: ???? ? ? ?????, Romaji: Namikaze Hantou Makurin
  6. I simply depise the TP incarnation of the Skull Kid. He was very annoying and he wasn't very inventive compared to the fairies. Oddball 464 00:56, October 20, 2009 (UTC)
  7. I hated the TP Skull Kid. He was annoying and creepy.--DarkTriforce (talk) 01:32, October 21, 2009 (UTC)
  8. As others have said the TP skull kid was annoying so i'll have to vote for the hide n seek faries (User talk:Ssherry92

Anonymous votes[]

  1. The Hide 'N' Seek Fairies have to be one of the most memorable characters from the Oracle series. Not only that they are just teasing you with the power they have by playing hide and seek. Just imagine what they are really capable of. As much as I like Skull Kid, the Hide 'N' Seek Fairies would not only win a battle they are more memorable.

Votes for Skull Kid[]

  1. This guy is a major pain and those Puppets of his freak me out like nobody's business. The Fairy search was fun, but he had a psychological edge, what with his creepy perpetual smile and bad trumpet-playing. I say...Skull Kid! --AuronKaizer! 21:19, October 18, 2009 (UTC)
  2. Overall I think Skull Kid's a much more interesting character. And finding him is much more fun because you get to kick his arse for trying to kill you. Diachronos (talk) 21:26, October 18, 2009 (UTC)
  3. Umm, I kinda liked the skull kid, besides how annoying he was...at least he leads you through the lost woods. The fairy thing on the other side is really ugly... Twili Tetra
  4. He is pretty scary. His puppets are scarier.-- C2 / CC 22:07, October 18, 2009 (UTC)
  5. Go demented wooden-puppet-looking thing. Jedimasterlink (talk) 22:55, October 18, 2009 (UTC)
  6. Ah, one of the more nerve-wracking moments of Twilight Princess... and then there were those two statues, the only puzzle in the game I legitimately got so annoyed at that I had to look up a guide. I probably still would, if I played that part again. Portal-Kombat
  7. I like them both, but I really like Skull Kids, so he gets my vote. I also really like his puppets. He would probably win in a fight, to top it all off. The Midna (talk) Midna Laughing 23:46, October 18, 2009 (UTC)
  8. Haven't played the other game but Skull Kid is one of my favorite characters.--Ironknuckle1 (talk) 20:42, October 19, 2009 (UTC)
  9. I like the Skull Kid in every one of his incarnations. The fairies? Not so much. LapisScarab (talk) 01:47, October 20, 2009 (UTC)
  10. When I saw it on the main page, I thought you guys were talking about the MM Skull kid. Even still, go skull kid. Wooooo...--RH 02:12, October 20, 2009 (UTC)
  11. Skull Kid was easier to follow, he has a freakin' lantern that's not to hard to miss, Skull Kid anyday --Hybasuku (talk) 19:43, October 20, 2009 (UTC)
  12. I like how the Skull Kid challenges you I mean, Skull Kid teleports to at least ten places, and it is really challenging --War62 (talk) 13:01, October 20, 2009 (UTC)
  13. skull Kid was the best! from dropping 200 rupees to having an awesome horn, skull kid has my vote through an through --United Under Triforce--
  14. Skull Kid is awesome, cause is he a good guy or a bad guy? That's cool. And he plays Saria's Song which, despite being the most useless song in OoT is quite catchy and nostalgic. DarxStar128
  15. Skull Kid is a better character and you actually have to fight him. And he isnt as annoying as the fairies. I hated those stupid things! HeroofAwesome
  16. Skull Kid plays Saria's Song on that horn of his, which is like, my favorite Ocarina Song, so, he get's my vote. --This Is SPARTA!!!' 11:42, October 23, 2009 (UTC)

Anonymous votes[]

  1. This guy is at least interesting. The fairies were such a pain, especially since many of them were troublesome to get if you didn't know how to do it right.
  2. This guy is actually important to the plot of TP. The scattered fairies only help in the plot of FSA, which was, I believe, not as good as TP. In MM the fairies are annoining, not important and only a bit usefull.
  3. Those fairies look weird and the skull kids are way cooler.
  4. Grrgh! This guy actually forced me to reset the game due to Skull Kid being too good! While those fairy/bunny things don't seem very strong...(Never Played oracle games...) Skull kid could have drove me crazy! -Well maybe he did!
  5. I loved the skullkid, mischievous little imp, while the hide and seek thing was a tad repetitive, I still found it entertaining, especially because it was a familiar character, plus that's the first skullkid -fight- (If I remember correctly, though do feel free to put me in my place if i'm wrong, memory is very hazy concerning some games.) in the series. (excluding MM, because blowing a bubble / playing a song isn't really a fight, is it? XD) Also he has a funky horn.
  6. In OoT, he drops 200 rupees when killed. 200! You don't get that from retarded fairies that play hide and seek
  7. Lets see: the second coolest character in MM (Second only to Majora), one of biggest rupee drops in OOT, one of the funner aspects of TP, and what do fairies have? nothing. skul kid is better then the idot fairys.

Peanut Gallery[]

Instead of "He has an endless armies of Puppets," shouldn't it say, "He has an endless army of Puppets?" The Midna (talk) Midna Laughing 01:12, October 19, 2009 (UTC)

If you see a mistake like that, you can change it, you know. Xykeb Yvolix Zraliv 01:27, October 19, 2009 (UTC)
Okay. I didn't think I was allowed to change it. Thanks, XZ. The Midna (talk) Midna Laughing 01:35, October 19, 2009 (UTC)
I was trying to see if people would scrutinize my own intros like I do those of Watcher's. Or I made a mistake? I can't really tell. --AuronKaizer! 14:47, October 19, 2009 (UTC)

I hate anonymous voters (in general, some are fine). A lot of them make no sense, they flame things for no reaons whatsoever, and they have no clue what they're talking about. It doesn't matter if you point it out, because they never come back. See the Skull Kid vote #2. I mean, seriously? We're talking about the Hide 'N' Seek Fairies, not the Stray Fairies. Xykeb Yvolix Zraliv 19:13, October 19, 2009 (UTC)

Hey, we're trying to pass a bill that allows cruel and unusual punishment for said editors. --AuronKaizer! 20:28, October 19, 2009 (UTC)
AK, were you born that creepy?--RH 02:15, October 20, 2009 (UTC)
The anons this week are even worse than usual. Anonymous voter #6 is talking about the OoT Skull Kids when we're clearly talking about the TP ones. Xykeb Yvolix Zraliv 17:01, October 20, 2009 (UTC)
Don't worry, it's not really anything past having to play Halo. That's punishment enough for me. And no, I was made creepy from prolonged exposure to a twisted, corrupt world. Don't worry, it happens to everyone in time. --AuronKaizer! 03:51, October 21, 2009 (UTC)
My friend tried to make me play Halo with him once. When I finally gave in, I got bored after about 6 minutes of killing and respawning and killing and respawning. Blah. Xykeb Yvolix Zraliv 03:54, October 21, 2009 (UTC)
I admit, Halo multiplayer can get a bit repetitive. However, if you take the time to play through the campaign or have some good matches online, it's actually a really good game. Of course, you're entitled to your opinion. Turtleman579 05:26, October 24, 2009 (UTC)

what can you do about it though? ips are too lazy to make accounts. you hardly expect them to read the introduction or the page or even play the game. Oni Dark Link 17:57, October 20, 2009 (UTC)

Well I now have an account so no more anonymous votes for me. And while I have played all the Zelda games (except the CD-i games and the game and watch Zelda) I have never made it all the way through MM or AoL. User:Birdman5589

should finish them theyre two of my favorites. Oni Dark Link 18:34, October 20, 2009 (UTC)

AAAAAAAAAUUUUUUUUUUUGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHH WHY DOES NOBODY REALIZE WE'RE TALKING ABOUT THE TP ONES EXCLUSIVELY??!!!!!?! Xykeb Yvolix Zraliv 22:45, October 21, 2009 (UTC)

Because it is too hard to look a picture or read the intro description or even click on the link to the article. ;) User:Birdman5589

Please, it's going to get really annoying if whoever does the introductions keeps holding silent E's. Just try sounding out some of those words, it seems like you're just repeating random letters. (If that's the point, then never mind.) Signed, The Recondite Sage

Ever hear of shouting? Like what people tend to do when you complain about them? >.> --AuronKaizer! 00:24, October 22, 2009 (UTC)

Week 68: Darkhammer vs. General Onox[]

Darkhammer
Winner!
General Onox!!!
General Onox
7.5<24.5
General Onox

LAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAADIES AND GENTLEMEN! It's time, once again, for another battle in the TEMPLE. OF. COURAGEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE! We ask that that the audience wear protective goggles and stay well out of range of both of tonight's combatants. For tonight, we have a truly A-MACE-ING battle for you! Draw your eyes to the center ring and behold our fierce combatants!

In the green corner, we have an armor-clad anthropomorphic lizard monster FROM ANOTHER TIME-UH! He is not the talkative type, but lets his actions speak for him. Wielding a huge flail, later stolen from his corpse by the graverobbing Hero of Twilight, THIS. IS. DAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARKHAMMMMMERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!

And in the yellow corner is a mysterious General of Darkness...a remorseless villain hell-bent on evil deeds such as preventing people from growing crops and using flowers as launchers...another wielder of the glorious Ball and Chain weapon and a man whose true form strikes terror in the hearts of even the fiercest pyromaniac...THIS. IS. GENERAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAL OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONOXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX!!!

Both our audience and tonight's duelists are feeling that hunger for smashed skull jelly right now, so without further ado...LET'S GET READY TO RUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUMBLEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!

Votes for Darkhammer[]

  1. You can take his weapon when you beat him. You can take. His weapon. Diachronos (talk) 02:30, October 12, 2009 (UTC)
  2. I've never played a game with the other guy, but Darkhammer was pretty cool. It was an extremely original weapon for Link to own in the series (the ball and chain) and I can't help admitting that I really enjoyed beating him and then discovering that his weapon did not disappear and I could take it and kill all of the stupid ice blocks in that dungeon. --Twili Tetra
  3. I don't own either of the Oracle games, so this is really just a vote for the character I'm most familiar with. LapisScarab (talk) 20:20, October 13, 2009 (UTC)
  4. I haven't finished the oracle games and I hated facing Darkhammer. But I like the Ball and chain that Darkhammer gives you so My votes to him.--Ironknuckle1 (talk) 20:26, October 13, 2009 (UTC)
  5. Not sure how Darkhammer is loseing. Way better then onix over there. Metroidhunter32 17:17, October 16, 2009 (UTC)
  6. Without his ball and chain I would never be able to beat dinalfos. Midna Rocks

Anonymous votes[]

  1. Really liked him, fun boss. Then again, have yet to play Oracle Games... heh.
  2. I think that Darkhammer would have to win this battle, and anyone who says Onix (yes I spelled it with in "i") would win because he uses his dragon form know this, he would be disqualified because this is an "A-MACE-ING" battle meaning you can only use mace not your hands.
  3. Never played oracle games but I had more trouble beating darkhammer than gannondorf!

Votes for General Onox[]

  1. General Onox was a pain to beat, both in his regular and "true" form. Darkhammer was a cool mini-boss battle, but still too easy. Also, General Onox's weird dialogue and character in the manga, totally different from the game, I do like. So, it must be Onox. (Please people, try not to misspell his name as Onix or YOU WILL DIE.) --AuronKaizer! 02:20, October 12, 2009 (UTC)
  2. I've said it before and I'll say it again: I will lose any respect I have for anybody who votes for Darkhammer purely because he is in TP. --EveryDayJoe45 (talk) 02:21, October 12, 2009 (UTC)
  3. Onix Onox looks fairly cool and his fight is pretty fun. Darkhammer is just kinda one of those "eh" fights for me. Pointless Clawshot ceilings + narrow hallways + impossible to dodge weapons = mediocre fight. Xykeb Yvolix Zraliv 02:23, October 12, 2009 (UTC)
  4. The Darkhammer fight was easy, if you don't mind loosing hearts. Plus I like his story better.-- C2 / CC 02:25, October 12, 2009 (UTC)
  5. Onox a synonym for the word "powerhouse" :D but Darkhammer is really easy to beat. Portal-Kombat
  6. Before I played the Oracle games I propably would have voted for Darkhammer... Mr k m i l
  7. Normally I hate Onox, but even I have to admit that he beats Darkhammer. Sure you get to take Daerkhammer's weapon, but Onox is the main villian of his game. And he is actually an enourmous Dark Dragon! Onox pwns Darkhammer, pure and simple. User:HeroofAwesome
  8. Meep! Meep Meep (talk) 18:51, October 12, 2009 (UTC)
  9. "Did you see it? The power of the dark general which extinsuishes every power and destroys evey living thing!" (plus he's a dragon) Oni Dark Link 20:43, October 12, 2009 (UTC)
  10. If I were to list all the ways and reasons that Onox just wins over that darkhammer guy whom I see no reason to give a flying giants knife about, you would have to have countless archives for this vote alone.--RH 23:50, October 12, 2009 (UTC)
  11. I'm still trying to beat this guy, he's too hard! Darkhammer wasn't even a challenge for me. Oddball 464 00:49, October 13, 2009 (UTC)
  12. Onox would pick up Darkhammer with two fingers, and EAT HIM--DarkTriforce (talk) 01:09, October 13, 2009 (UTC)
  13. Neither have swords and I like swords :( Oh well onox is one of the most badass enemies. --The man without a plan (talk) 20:40, October 13, 2009 (UTC)
  14. Dark hammer was just an uninteresting place holder, it almost feels like he was made up on the spot. at least Onoxy has a purpose and motivation in addition to mysterious title that demands an explaination!--Foutlet (talk) 18:32, October 14, 2009 (UTC)
  15. I don't want joe to lose my respect! --Zelda311 Golden Fierce Deity Golden Fierce Deity 18:55, 14 August 2009 (UTC) 23:00, October 14, 2009 (UTC)
  16. I havent played this game , but onox looks cooler, anyway.zeldafreak39
  17. General Onox looks awesome with his armor and spiked ball and chain. He would probably win a fight, also. The Midna (talk) Midna Laughing 18:06, October 17, 2009 (UTC)
  18. Onox is a final boss, unless you're playing the linked game, while Darkhammer is only a miniboss. Sir Real
  19. Onox has a funny hat so, (????)? Onox! Haru Mclean Namikaze will swallow your soul...| talk | Kanji: ???? ? ? ?????, Romaji: Namikaze Hantou Makurin

  1. I vote Onox...because his ball is spikier. :3
  2. I never fought general Onox and I liked batteling Darkhammer, but Onox' armor looks way cooler then Darkhammer's.. That's why I like Iron Knuckles more then Darknuts too.
  3. A badass mini boss v.s a badass final boss(I THINK, i hav't played his game
  4. While i would normalygo with Darkhammer, Onox has one extra awsome weapon, and i stole Darkhammer's weapon twice(thats how many times I've played through the game, even though i only got to the Palace of Twilight on my first playthrugh) Mr.Fairy
  5. He is harder to beat and he uses more than a ball and chain
  6. Hmm, a guy who is a fat lizaflos or a guy who is actually a dragon, ya probably the dragon guy would win
  7. Meh, Onox looks much cooler, so he is the guy I'm going to vote for.
  8. Orox rules. So i`ll vote for Orox
  9. Onox, obviously. Darkhammer is merely some kind of monkey in a suit, while Onox has the air of a professional head-smash-in-er.
  10. im voting for onox because i will get the game and he is awsome
  11. Two words. Giant tornado.

I think this is the first time that I can honestly say that, there is no good reason to support a Twilight Princess thing.-- C2 / CC 02:28, October 12, 2009 (UTC)

There is when you discover the unparalleled bliss of being on the giving end of the Ball and Chain. Diachronos (talk) 02:32, October 12, 2009 (UTC)
Same (to CC). Of course, I've thought that bunches of times before. But never said it. Of course, I'm not really saying it now either, just typing it out. So I guess, we still haven't said it. --AuronKaizer! 02:33, October 12, 2009 (UTC)
That makes two of us. (At Diachronos) I never found a true need for it, I'm pretty good with a sword.-- C2 / CC 02:34, October 12, 2009 (UTC)
I use it whenever I can... Diachronos (talk) 02:38, October 12, 2009 (UTC)
It's a good weapon, but not enough for me to support him.-- C2 / CC 02:39, October 12, 2009 (UTC)
Don't get me wrong, I loved Snowpeak Ruins. I thought it was a great level of difficulty and a nice twist for a dungeon in the story. But it is such an undeniably filler area, and the boss was one of the biggest letdowns :\ Portal-Kombat

Looks like we were wrong about dark hammer gets votes for being tp. ALthough the week is still very young and i could be proved very wrong Oni Dark Link 20:45, October 12, 2009 (UTC)

Seeing as the letter X is two sounds and not one like most other letters, how would one stretch out the X sound? Do we say "ksksksksksksksksksksks" or just "kssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss"? Xykeb Yvolix Zraliv 23:53, October 12, 2009 (UTC)

The second one. Portal-Kombat
The latter.-- C2 / CC 02:52, October 13, 2009 (UTC)
The former, actually. --AuronKaizer! 02:14, October 14, 2009 (UTC)
On that note, can you really stretch a silent E? (See: COURAGEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!) Signed, The Recondite Sage.

I hate that Darkhammer only got one real vote. Diachronos (talk) 18:40, October 14, 2009 (UTC)

Yes, Twili Tetra knows his/her stuff. --AuronKaizer! 18:41, October 14, 2009 (UTC)
That's why I decided not vote this week--if I did, I would be one of the "fake" votes, so to speak, since I thought Darkhammer was only okay, but I haven't played the Oracle games. Jedimasterlink (talk) 06:08, October 15, 2009 (UTC)

im delighted about the turn out. GO ONOX Oni Dark Link 18:49, October 14, 2009 (UTC)

I think I really helped Darknut get more votes, I mean come on, link could barely beat that dragon, but this is not for Onox's true form

This is of course assuming people are voting for it as it were a real battle and not a popularity contest...which doesn't really happen a lot. --AuronKaizer! 16:48, October 15, 2009 (UTC)
This is probably the biggest fail I've ever seen as far as vote & comment combinations go. Xykeb Yvolix Zraliv 22:34, October 15, 2009 (UTC)
If this was a real battle Onox would wipe the floor with Darkhammer: A game's antagonist vs. a mini-boss... hmmm? --EveryDayJoe45 (talk) 22:36, October 15, 2009 (UTC)
One of the only difficult main antagonists aganest a mini boss which is only hard if you have only three hearts. Oni Dark Link 18:23, October 16, 2009 (UTC)

Week 67: Error vs. Old Man[]

Error
Winner!
Error!
Error
20>13
Old Man (The Legend of Zelda)

LAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAADIES AND GENTLEMEN! The outrageously attractive editors of Zeldapedia bring you the 67th, that's right, 67th, week in the TEMPLE OF COURRRRRRRRAAAAAAAAGE!!!!!! This week, we bring you a blast from the past, a fight from back before Nintendo even knew how to speak English properly. For those reasons, please forgive all grammatical errors made by this week's contestants.

In the purple corner, we have a man who defies all description. Many attempts have been made to categorize him, even more to understand him, but they have all been in vain. There's really only one thing we know for sure, folks: HE. IS. ERRRRRRRRRRRROOOOOOOORRRRRRRR!!!!!!!

And in the light blue corner, a man as old as the hills and half as eloquent. Find him in a cave, a tree, a dungeon, and who knows what he'll do? Give you advice, mug you, play Money Making Game? He's the Zelda series' ultimate unknown, the OOOOOOLLLLLLLD MAAAAAAAAAAAAAAN!!!!!

And so, two ancient mysteries with a preschool-level understanding of the English language compete for a winner to be them! In the spirit of these two brave competitors, I say to you, LET GET READY TO RUMMMMMMMMMMBLLLLLLE!!!

  9. I dunno, he's just way better. I thought it was hilarious when I went in his house, spoke to him, and he introduced himself as Error. Error is awesome. Twili Tetra
  10. I am also ERROR The man without a plan (talk) 14:24, October 5, 2009 (UTC)
  11. Too bad Old Man's appearances in The Legend of Neil are non-canon, or it'd be a cinch. The way things are now though, better be Error. (That's strange, I got the blue screen of death when I typed that.) --AuronKaizer! 14:33, October 5, 2009 (UTC)

  2. REDEADHUNTER DISLIKES ERROR--Redeadhunter 18:34, October 4, 2009 (UTC)
  3. Error only has two horribly mangled, infinitely perplexing sentences that can potentially rip apart the Universe. Old Man has several. Xykeb Yvolix Zraliv 19:28, October 4, 2009 (UTC)
  4. before he had all of thees attractive maidens and female sages he had to rely on the intellegence of a schizophrenic old man. error was just confusing and dose nothing else, a lot like 75% of all the other NPCs from that game--Foutlet (talk) 22:12, October 5, 2009 (UTC)
  5. The Old Man is clearly the underdog here, but his garbled English infinitely surpasses that of Error. ONES WHO DOES NOT HAVE TRIFORCE CAN'T GO IN...SOUTH OF ARROW MARK HIDES A SECRET...this stuff is pure fool's gold.Jedimasterlink (talk) 00:22, October 6, 2009 (UTC)

  1. Error simply is an error, he is the law
  2. After watching this http://www.effinfunny.com/legend-of-neil/seasons?vid=342&sid=1 everyone has to agree that old man better than this error guy
  3. I vote for Old man because...every hero needs a mentor xD. And while, yes the Legend of Neil thing isn't from the actual game, I still think the Old man was more useful, three swords and plenty of crazy advice!
  4. "Secrets lie where fairies do not live." Classic Old Man, so cryptic and a little poetic. One of my favorite parts of Zelda.
  5. It's dangerous to go alone. Take this. Not to mention, Zelda II was the most pathetic game I ever played
  6. I have to go with the old dude. Mr. Fairy
  7. At first I voted for error, but I changed my vote. I remembered all the good times on Zelda games that had to do with the old man, And he is still a wise awesome old man.
  8. I would have gone for error. But after the legend of Neil. Man... xD "No, it's Oold maan!"

HE. IS. ERRRRRRRRRRRROOOOOOOORRRRRRRR??????? If that is a reference to the movie 300, I like it--Redeadhunter 16:30, October 5, 2009 (UTC)

Actually, the original inspiration is the commentary of one Tony Chimel. --AuronKaizer! 16:34, October 5, 2009 (UTC)

I am honestly surprised error is so highly voted. Old man has had plenty more apperances and is better known plus error is from zelda II but still he is winning. Although i might be speaking too soon. The week is far from over. Oni Dark Link 18:07, October 6, 2009 (UTC)

Honestly I'm not surprised at all. It's called "ironic love", where you love something because you think it's ridiculous and laughable. Error is quite simply more infamous than Old Man, because Zelda II got the "bad game" stuff on top of the mangled quotes. Therefore he's getting more votes.
